Had mine out over the weekend. Driving down a dual-carraigeway and some knob in front throws a coke can out of there window.
Clattered straight into that huge nose on the V6. Not a happy chappy.:@
Another V6 to keep me company.:D
What was it like driving out of the dealership? Ill remember that forever, my local dealer is smack bang in the middle of a town, Peter Vardy (Reg Vardy director) handed the car over to me. I picked it up in rush hour traffic.
The looks it got. And me trying...
The car feels pretty much same mate, Ive only done 100 miles so far. I work away from home, so shes just sat waiting for me. I drove it home from the dealer and around to a few mates houses and that was it, three weeks ago.:(
As for the weight of the car, its not really the engine that knocks...
Touch wood, Ive never had a problem yet. Two Megane 2.0 Coupes, one Cabrio, Mk1 172, Mk2 Clio 1.5 dci and now the V6 and a Megane due for March.
If I do ever have problems I do fear that my dealer appears absolutely useless for repairs
Fingers crossed.
Sorry for posting this here, but the meetings section is locked out?
You mentioned to me a few days ago about the Thruxton / Renaultsport day and taking along the V6.
I noticed your thread about it in the meetings section and wondered, is there still any chance of getting a ticket for me and...
I paid £25K for my V6, from my local dealer.
No questions, thats just the price they gave me, perhaps could have got more off? Dont care.
Not been funny but I generally dont argue over prices, never have. Too much like hard work, if I can get a couple of goodies thrown in Im happy.:)
Sorry to hear that mate.
Touch wood, Ive never had a problem with a Renault yet. Apart from the V6s autochanger not working.
Goes back in today when Ive finished at work.
Good luck with that mate.:)
I like the 182, I like them all.
It doesnt bother me when people go on about 172s and 182s beating V6s either. Perhaps they can, perhaps they cant
Couldnt give a sh1t.
Each to there own, and buy what you like.:)
My wife looked pretty p1ssed of on Saturday when I couldnt stop grinning at the V6. She said "You love that more than me dont you"
Errrrr, cause not dear.:p
When I get some pictures sorted Ill take one of mine in the garage, just to show how tight a squeeze it is.
New houses have garages the size of shoeboxs:@
Yeh, but they look bloody great.
I could forgive that car of almost anything when I open the garage door and see it sat there. And when you start it up.:D
I was 22 when I got my 172, cant remember what the insurance was. Im 25 now with a V6.
Only had my 3 series a year before the force of the Clios pulled me back:D
