Why have Renault started sticking STUPID back ends to their cars?
When are they gonna rename them to the "Renault Megan Scenic ARSE" and the "Renault Clio ARSE"
Never had people in my 172...they are all too scared.
I used to get a squeak in my 1.4rt 8v (M - 95) when I pulled away but was told that it was the engine mount or breaks binding. Did it in 1st and 2nd.
Suspension creaked a bit when people got out.

It seems that when Iam travellign inder 30mph it doesnt want to work. When I get to 35mpg it goes hell for leather and tries to wear a hole in my windscreen...
Yeah.. Plenty of copper ease will help stop the pads squealing, and will also help conduct/dissipate heat away from the bads onto the caliper & cradle.
You might also need a clamp to push the pot/piston pack in...slowly.
Mate of mine mentioned the other day, that if the police pull you over and see your radar detector, then they can remove it under some obscure law.

Buy a 2L 16v engine from the "For Sale" section and put it in your motor.
That way your fuel consumption will be more realistic for your engine size.
I have tried cable ties but they managed to bite through them. Tried to duck tape their gobs but kiddie spit seems to be one of the best lubricants around.
I might give the "cut out the offending part" option a go.....or try some black towels to cover the alacantra.
