    Color coding the trim

    Just a quick question, How is the color coding done, do you buy new trim for your car already in the color, or do you just simple get the trim painted the same color as the rest of your car. If you buy them already painted then a good website would be great. Cheers

    Are you sure? I would have said if your taking the spings off the shocks and putting original springs back on then you will need the compressors otherwise the springs are gunna do some damage when you release then :evil::rasp: Might be wrong though, maybe the sports are different.....

    Also, if Mk1s dont have rear springs (which i read that they dont) then how the hell do you lower the back!! Surely it doesnt have to stay at the default height :rasp:

    Ok I cleaned out the idle control valve and the car is idleing much better now. But it still is a bit doggy. Inside the icv it was still a bit stiff, just wondering is it safe to spary some wd40 inside to loosen it up a bit better? Cheers

    Hi, At a guess I would say that most of the engine parts for a 16v would be completly different to the engine parts of an 8v, but then again I dont know that much about cars and I could be wrong! :clown: I am only talking about engine parts here, so are there differences big between 16v and 8v...

    Ok, if I lower by 60mm, that means I need to get a whole suspension kit doesnt it, istead of just the springs? Or am I wrong, someone told me that if you lower over 40mm then you cant just get the springs. Cheers.
