That's what many insurers do. I phoned mine when I noticed my 'entitlement' was 5 and I had 9! They said the same as they told you, however they said that there would be 10 years worth after this year so I'll ask for proof when it expires.
You could go through old companies an see if they still...
Should be fine. I bought an old cortina once that had sat for over 2 years in one spot. Put new fuel in it, and jump started it and it ran fine and passed an MOT the next day after new tyres, the brakes weren't even binding!.
You can buy chocks to assist the tyres or put it on axel stands. You...
They aren't classics dude so I don't think you'll have any probs finding descent 172 in 5 years let alone one year! And if you cant find one on the iow just find one on the mainland, it aint a problem as people import cars from Australia to the UK, if they want it enough.
If you were into...
Yhea man, I got my MacPro a few weeks back... f**king beast! There is no point trying to count how long it takes to load Photoshop, the time it takes me to release the mouse pointer off the Ps icon it's loaded, like one second!
It's the new intel eight core with an HD monitor. My last mac (G4...
You are not the first person I've heard of having this done. A friend of mine had a leaky MK2 PH2 which killed the ECU, I think he paid more like £1000 to get it fixed!
not that I use softener, what does fabric softener do to the cloths to kill them?
I use ecoballs, they use these crystals inside plastic balls with holes in and mean you dont have to use powder / tabs. Pretty good for the environment and can be used like 1000 times (but they were about £30)
Thanks for the replies.
Sorted now. It seemed a restart of the machine was what was needed. We had the power trip out today while she had Photoshop opening and this forced the computer to suddenly shut down, it probably didnt like it and needed a while to sort itself out.
It's daft how much I...
Anyone come across this problem?
Basically since lending my missus the mac whenever I free transform and hold shift to fix the aspect ratio (or rotate in increments), shift does nothing. If I hold shift while I draw a line (to fix on a parallel) it doesn't work either, but it will for text...
So you are hooking up to your neigbours wifi with a wireless device plugged into your mac but the device wont find the net?
Have you checked your version of OSX against the devices requirements and gone through the settings a few times to check it is all fine. Did you restart after installing...
You've done well, they all look like tidy little mini's.
I love the old mini too, but I've never had one. My sister has a 1275cc mini 35 which is sitting needing work, it's pretty solid but failed it's MOT on subframe mounts, bearings and some wireing, it's a pinky purple colour with minilites...
It's a Daewoo (wierd eh) but it's probably at least 2 years old now. Missus clicked on it before I could read what it said but got board of waiting for the bar to update itself so she switched it off.
Doubt they can do much other than ask for a credit card to subscribe or whatever but seriously...
My other half just tried BBC text on our Freeview box (linked to a normal TV and house ariel) and got a download pop-up for 1.1 to 2.0 and some 14day (free) EPG trial. Nothing else was explained. (all channels work incl the channel list so that doesnt need updating?)
I would hazzard a guess...
Surely people get tired of going overboard with the praise every time someone posts pictures of their turini's or sprayed badges. It seems not.
I like what he's done, and fair play to him for having the guts to spend that sort of cash doing it to a clio.
It should aready be fairly quick.
You could clean the hard drive up a bit and get rid of any crap you don't want on there.
Close any programs you have running automaticly that you don't need to.
My dad's had the 230 Kompressor (2.3 supercharged) Mk1 (with the black sills) and now the 320 (3.2 v6) Mk1 ph2 (with the skirts) both are what I'd regard as fairly quick for such solidly built cars, but you are right the 200 isnt the quickest, never-the-less the ride is very smooth and they are...
cars with leather seem to keep the smell longer. My dad's merc is 2005 and it smells like new but the one he had before (an R reg) smelled new when he sold it in 2006.
If you carry dogs, food (especially fast food) or people (especially children) in your car a lot they start to smell less...
Of course no doubt he'll have his excess to pay, then he'll loose a percentage of NCD unless it's protected and even then he'll have to declare a no fault claim for the next 3 to 5 years.
I would accept nothing less than a brand new car. If he's been through all this and gets offered a f**king...
I'm doing some work in Shropshire and was driving along side the main carpark and spotted you (good looking blonde girl) your car looked very clean and sparkly in the sunshine we had today!
I don't think it matters what his calculations are dude, if you are trying to say diesel is more of a rip off at the pump than it should be, tell us something we dont know! the fact of the matter is that regardless of the extra 11p they are still more efficient, your flogging a dead horse trying...
A spokesman from AutoWeek only recently said that diesels are holding their second hand value better than equivalent petrol engines, and advised people to buy a diesel instead.
The lastest diesels like the 1.3 in my folks Suzuki will do 530 miles to £35, that's over 15 miles for a quid, there...
Could be A LOT worse.
I got a redemption letter from my mortgage company, basicly the same circumstances as you, someone with similar details cancled my mortgage and tried to start another on another property > early repayment fee would be £2600!
The bank wouldnt speak to me. When I did get...
Many thanks for the kind comments, it's great to see so many art lovers on here! It's a fantastic hobby which I'm very privileged to have somehow turned into a career over the last 4 years.
