2gb card came today from mymemory. At first it just didnt detect it so shut the phone down and started back up and it found it. Formatted the card and its been spot on! One thing i did notice is that all the connections seem scratched, not sure if they have done this on purpose for a better...

^I have requested a code from Orange myself (not turned up yet). 20 quid charge but i dont think they are too happy about doing it in general.

N80s can only be unlocked by the operator. (i.e orange, voda etc). Obviously o2 phones are unlocked already. As far as i know there is no software out there yet that allows you to do it yourself.

If you still have you key code then you can just change it. Sometimes on a sticker on the pc or with your documentation.

Got the latest firmware mate. I have just found out from Sandisk UK that the card i have is fake. Think that is the problem, although many people are having problems with numerous different cards.

Problem is that there doesnt seem to be any definite answers anywhere. Might sell this one and risk one of the AData cards, think they approx £28 for 2gb. BTW - The Nokia mini-sd 1Gb card is £54 ! Are they taking the p*ss ???

Seems to be common with the sandisks and mine is doing exactly the same as everyone elses, works for 1 min then 'no mem card inserted'. The card works fine in my digi camera btw. Anyone got an n80 with a 2gb card which works fine ? Heard the AData ones off ebay work but i dont want to mess...

Be interestin to see if they fix or replace it. I might jot down the serial before dhl collect it. I wonder if the 12 month warranty will start again on a replacement ? Have to say i wont be impressed if it f*ks up when the warranty is out.

So is it worth just stickin with onboard vga ?, I do have a 128mb Geforce4 cheap card in my old machine that could be used i guess if there is no benefit from a new one. Im open to any advice on any of it really, cpu, ram, mobo. Just want to keep it under 200 notes for the upgrade.
