Just purely for off peak calls at home though. If i got a £40 a month plan the phone would actually cost me £240 (£20 a month more) instead of £100 one off payment. Nothing is free because you pay for it in your contract.

Could be a good idea, im sure most have cracked on to this though and specify you stay on a plan for x months or something.

Not after the phone for free, i know i need to pay for that. Its just a phone for at home rather than using the BT phone. Had a mooch on some other sites to no avail. Looks like it will have to be the o2 1000 mins 18 month contract.

Found the talkplan i want (T-Mobile Everyone Off-Peak 750 - £20 a month) and the phone i want (Nokia N80). T-Mobile - Rang them, dont have the N80 and probably wont be getting it ? Orange - Rang them, only retail shops do the off peak plans now so cant help ? + dont have one on OVP either...

The K800i or the Nokia seems to be the best bet by the look of things. Is the player any good on the K800i ?

Ive known of random rebooting etc about 3 times in all the time ive been in IT. Each time for me its been the RAM. Try a friends stick of RAM or remove all but 1 stick if you have multiple sticks in there. Trial and error really. Actually i think ive had a dodgy hard drive be the cause...

Also, the ability to play/stream virtually any type of video file would be nice instead of just mpeg. I find it great for music and piccies from my pc.

I think this is where Microsoft will come into their own over Sony. Updates are their specialty as we all know ! I wish they would release a browser for the 360 and a wireless keyboard. That would be a great addition.

picked hitman up from local tesco for £39.97 and i think table tennis was £24.97, all in stock.

I have just got hitman on the 360. Only played it for an hour or so and seems pretty good. Only downside is that there doesnt seem to be anything there that the original xbox cant do :(

double check file and printer sharing is selected for a start. disable / uninstall norton aswell to eliminate that.

There is no doubting that Microsoft has got a HUGE head start on both Sony and Nintendo. Although it is annoying that Microsoft get their mits on everything you have to say they have played a blinder getting the 360 out a whole year before any next gen console.

Ive just read the ps3 will be 599 EU (£375) for a premium type pack . Is this right ? £100 more than the launch price of the 360 ! I bet Microsoft drops the price of the 360 when its launched aswell to give Sony another kick in the nads. I wont be buying one at that price. Think the Sony boys...
