I am looking for the best brake set up for my Trophy on a reasonable budget. I have no idea how much things will cost. Thinking new discs and pads on the front, new pads on the back and a brake fluid change. So what are my best options, where from and how much? Car does a few track days so dont...
Timi i saw the brucey plated 172 :) Loads of renault sports there today, another trophy, 172's/182's saw a red 197 and 3? white 200's one of my mates was in one. Meggy R26R and that mental yellow porsche was flying
Suppose you can track a 1.2, just like you could go shopping in a V6. Just up to you what you want to do. I can see why you dont want to spoil the V but its only a car, it wont hurt it have some fun init. Just my opinion your v is lovley, but im sure it would be more fun flying around the track...
The aircon doesnt bother me at all, infact id prefer the trophy if it was stripped out, no aircon, abs ect. But how trophys come standard i think it would be better if they had a half leather/ swade(spelling?) rear bench to match the recaro's would just finish it off better imo
nice car mate i had a prem edition ep3 ctr, loved the engine and gearbox. Steering feel was non exsistant thats why i sold it, spoilt the car for me, give the trophy ep3 box and engine = perfect :)
Was worth it for me, red paint, recaro's, fancy dampers, speedlines, 1 of 500. They were my reasons and i knew if i brought a 172 cup which i thought about i would of always wanted the trophy, so i am happy with my decision. Had it about eight and a half months and done 6.5k aprox init.
i might come this, if the trophy meet doesnt go ahead. I like matlock i used to go quite often a couple of years ago, just for the run out and get fish and chips. Always see nice cars.
nice car looks cool in white, i had a black prem edition one, lovley car i hated it though, no steering feel to it at all, horrible just spoiled it for me. It was quick , just seamed to keep going, quicker than the trophy, untill you hit a bend and you dont have the confidence go around it hard...
JCC thats exactly how i would have one if i ordered one, love them in red and have only seen one and that was at the local renault garage. To be honest i havent seen many on the road, two of my mates have got white ones, the recaro's are ace, i prefer them to trophy seats they realy hold you in
Nice car mate, i dont know anything about the trophy meganes, are they along the similar lines as the clio, only get them in grey, sach dampers and a limited run?
