    for the accurate figures you would need to talk to Nick m8. can they tell its been changed ???. not a hope in hell, cos they NEVER look... you would have to strip the ecu to tell, and that aint gonna happen however much anecdotal evidence some may come up with...;)

    same thing.. they are both re-maps... just the modus operandi that is different.. the term chipping usually refers to physical removal of the eprom chip (erasable (or electronically) programable read only memory) and replacing it with another that has been re-written in the appropriate way...

    partially correct, but the ik causes a reduction in the silencing ability.. ie, the IK causes more noise t be heard.. from the induction system..

    Sorry, Si, yep.. I have several new sets if you want them.. you need to check the stem diameter though.. what is it on the 16v as I hae not got the data handy ??. you may find that they wont fit as is.

    looks much better though 30-40mm isnt going to affect the suspension geometry much It sure can... ;)

    yes, it probably would.. it certainly sounds like you are running lean.. get it sorted asap... Nicks chip maps are excellent, and should sort your problem out... Have fun....;)

    this has been disussed before.. at length...:) the little filters are for show.. they do nothing of benefit... put it back into the main filter housing and you will be fine.
