spot on Nick, most of these conversions are half hearted, be prepared to actually LENGTHEN the suspension geometry (Bloody difficult on a macphearson strut system, but very possible.)
Spacers from the hub outwards are ok for about 10-15 mm at most, after that you WILL be asking for trouble -...
you should even get a mk2 172 for that price if you haggle.
or even a mk1 if ya must ..:devilish:
for the mk1, you can pick them up at 7-8k no probs. (Bargain Dood !)
Personally, I would go for a Caterham and a 5gtt.. :D
the supra is a great buy too.
I love the williams, but way over...
Possibly, well, probably lol, as Nick knows that enigine very well.
the important measurements are....
valve length
Stem Diameter
Guide availability
Head diameter to a point - providing it will fit in the chamber without causing a flow restriction at the edge. (ie - closest to the...
Hi Chris.
Come on..... battery on a multimeter measures say 12V. Connect a resistor in series with the positive measuring lead, PD is still 12V. To alter voltage you need to use a _potential divider_, a simple resistor in series with a voltage source just acts as a current limiting resistor...

Brun is correct, there is no setting up, just screw it in and plug ito the harness.
Just disconeect your ecu for 5 mins befre starting to clear the memory.

well spotted Tony, there are some differing models, but that looks like the one..
will give them a ring...
what a party game, will drive the cats mad too... perhaps a mouse body would be kewl...
I can have them posted from tabletop racers to florida, so will do that, they cant ship to the uk at the mo though... (Just emailed them to check and thats what they said... )
a 2.5" scooby.. lmao !!

Superb... dont know if they are in the uk yet... but, I am in Florida for most of december so might take orders lol..
Scalextric without the track.. bloody excellent... note the modable torsion bars lol...
:D

no m8, secondary voltage isnt fixed as such (at the electrode), yes, its limited by the coil ratio at the ht output. However, the problem is that the ignition leads are often of resistance that is too high to allow the peak voltage to appear at the electrode, thats all. Usually for suppresive...
depends on the stem diameter really as, if they are smaller, you would need retainers and collets, then you need to check the spring free / compressed length.
I would presume the f4r is smaller diameter stem than the 7p ben ?

I am slightly at a loss as to your correction on voltage current and coil turn ratio Chris.
Voltage is a result of current * reisitance.
Voltage is potential difference, therefore the PD has to be high enough for the spark to jump
By reducing the lead resistance you increase the current...
