Buy it by all means if you like rust after 2 years and the build quality of a Kia Getz.
I get them into work all the time for rust and paint defects, especially around that awful fitted spoiler. The thing reeks of cheap tat and I was seriously dissapointed as it's a car I've always wanted. I'm...
My Dynamique used to do this. All the dials would fall, lights go off etc, then all come back on all of a sudden. I put it into Renault for 2 days and they were 'unable to replicate the fault' so they changed my oil instead and tried to charge me £9 for the pleasure.
Never did get to find out...
My mums new shape MK3 1.5 is AWFUL for fuel consumption. Makes her wish she stuck with her MK2 diesel. Which needed filling up every 2nd pass of Halley's comet.
I get 34 out of the Cup, and I drive it like I stole it most of the time. Everyone at the 2007 Scottish Cliosport meet couldn't...
Tempted to do the same. Over the last month my right handle has gone from perfect to awful. I've always been cautious with it and rarely even hold it there (covered it in summer too). My theory is the hot air from the right hand vent has contributed to melting it over the winter period, where...
Re: The story of a high mileage 172
Wow, awesome :)
It's good to see it's gone to someone who loves it rather than some chav who would wrap it around a lampost. Especially for just over 2K
Speak for yourself. If he spent a little less time ruining a car and saving his money I'm sure he could. I had my Cup when I was 19, and in quite a bit of debt too. Straightened up my money situ and everything is good. When I was 18 I had a nice little Dynamique with colour coded bump strips...
Crank up the volume and they all disappear!
Most of mine are from all the loose crap I throw in the glovebox like rubbish and black penis lolly's your girlfriend and her friend thought it would be a hilarious present to buy you from Magaluf and your Mum finds while searching for insurance...
Renault badge is about £13 from Renault. I'd pick up a sport badge from your local chav modding store, as they're identical. You'll feel like a fud buying it but hey... you'll know... you'll know..
We had a 197 Cup in work getting it's yellow bumpers sprayed the right colour and that God-awful spoiler filled in and resprayed. It's boot-lid and rear quarterpanel had rust on it. 2 months old. I have pictures somewhere.
Servage.net. Prices are amazing, been with them for years and recommended a few people too. Comes with a sh*t-tonne of space and bandwidth for £4.50 a month, plus a free .com domain. Once it's set up, you have an easy to use control pannel to install popular easy to use website packages such as...
Rubbish. If he doesn't want to pay he can pretty much dissapear from the site. Won't be able to use it again mind.
Anyway, with that sort of miles I'm sure it's ok. If he's the sort of person that keeps receipts, I'm even more sure it'll be fine. Pay and do a quick HPI check before you pick it...
God, what has this got to do with the cars performance?! He could have done this on my Nan's electric wheelchair and still had the same outcome.
Oh, and 182 owners with Cup packs, the 2nd part of the video is for you lot! You trouble makers with your 'Big bad boy exhausts,' 'front and rear...
Don't give up on your argument yet. Monster Cable, who charge up to £100 for an HDMI cable, have proved that the extra bandwidth and speed in their cables helped outperform cheaper cables (£20 and below) in quality overall. Search youtube for it. Although, only a real HD junkie would notice. I...
Ouch, that's alot of trust you had thrown back in your face. Like you said, I get the impression he got cheaper parts and was charging you full price for them. So long as they were new genuine parts at the correct price like he quoted, I don't see what the problem would have been. If you were...
My Dad and I used that technique to refurb his Merc's alloys. We hadn't seen it at the time but it just seemed the simple thing to do. Infact the only thing I was worried about was the car falling off the supports and driving straight into the wall infront. We didn't spin the wheels too fast...
Sonic's been neglected over xmas and up untill this month. Cleaned the car tonight, and got down on my hands and knees with my small brush for my wheels, so back in the game ;) Your tints are spot on, how much, and where? Infact, everyone's tints here are spot on, I was expecting a few limo...
