lol. Good call ;)
You are right though, sometimes it's close. But more often than not, it's not. Paint can darken as it dries, especially reds and yellows. It's a ballache having to respray panels AND mask a car to blend if just taking a chance with painting the panels only goes tits up.
I cringed when you showed them on the car bare aluminium and expected to see hilarious comments, but in matt black the look pretty damn good! Great job!
Mine is also having problems. It's bloody annoying as their Radio advert is all about "losing connection" and how their wireless technology is the best.
Mine restarts itself and becomes invisible to devices for up to an hour.
If a sprayer isn't blending the colour, especially silver, then they're not doing their job properly. Very rarely will we paint something like a door or a wing and say, "we probably didn't need to blend that" but it's NEVER worth the risk. EVER. Way to expensive to sort if the shade is even...
Lol, people thinking like you do my tits in.
If you're not willing to leave your car and pay a little extra to get the replacement panels fitted and blended, then it's not our problem if the shade is slightly off.
Ph2 172's have greyish/black leather and alcantara seats with white "Renault Sport" embroidery. The back seats have drop down (flush) hearests). Alacantara door cards.
Ph2 172 Cups have a grey cloth interior, and a one-peice rear seats base and back. No "Renault Sport" embroidery or anything...
If you think they're going to buy that car off you for 8, you can jog on. I just bought a 57 plate 197 for £9995 from Renault. They'll give you between 4 and 5K if you're lucky.
Your best bet is to actually go in and speak to them
Remember, you've got your interest on top of the 8K too. So I'm...
Small drop of thinners might remove the white bits (looks like paint to me). If you can catch any of it with your finger nail then don't waste your time.
I'm a painter btw.
Read the small print. You don't even get the dump valve with it. I might add PC fans and processor heatsinks to my engine bay. Speed things up a little.
edit: maybe even a sound card or two.
Painter chipping in. It's definitely a spray job buddy, and hopefully if the line isn't too long on the door you shouldn't need it blended into the front wing. Although personally I'd do that, just to make sure the colour match was spot on. You're looking about £200+VAT for the two panels, and...
