set off on the half hour drive to Leeds, with a quick stop to fill up with V power...
Re: Mk1 172 Hybrid Track Car Project
yeh it has got a centre box, that'll be why
the magnex didn't have a centre 'box' as such, just a larger diameter section in the middle
the induction noise makes up for it :D
Re: Mk1 172 Hybrid Track Car Project

ive got the ashley exhaust on mine now, gives it more of a 'racer' look, but im sure its quieter than the magnex :S
i would recommend him to anyone
he must have been glad to see the back of me :clown:
yeh sold the cams in the end, so engine is totally standard bar bodies
if i feel the need i may well fit some cams in the future, not just yet though

you would need to buy new end plates, something like this http://rallynuts.com/motorsport/Safety_Harnesses_2307/Snap_Fastening_Harness_End_Plate_75mm_4045.asp
and replace your exisiting bolt on ones
what do you mean they cant be...
im pretty sure the outlet circled 2 is there on the ph1 plenum, i remember hooking my vacuum pipe up to it and thinking 'jesus that sits close to the cable guide'

as per here (post number 7) http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=402288&highlight=idle+control+valve
i dont think it would do anything to the idle, people have fit catch tanks to standard setups before, therefore bypassing the oil inlet on the plenum
whats wrong with the idle? too high, too low?
what have you done with the pipe/outlet that comes out on the left hand side of the engine as...
