Both wheels off ground.
If you can, put a scissor jack between ARB and car and that will push the ARB down. Or use a pole to lever it down and get someone to hold it whilst you fit wishbones.
I cant see a link
Also you need the correct parts to do it otherwise timing will be out. And if you think you need to use tipex then dont even start the job as the timing will be out.
Its easy to just remove the washer and wrap over it then just poke a hole and put it back no?
I have 2M of the wrap on its way to me and i will attempt to wrap it myself. :)
I know where to buy the wrap, I might buy myself a couple of meters and have a play myself over the next holiday I get.
I'm sure I can figure out how to make a join.
Sorry for the delay in adding Pics.
Was a long trip back and then had wheels rebalanced and Geo sorted.
They Plastidipped the Strips and Spoiler, The Wrap would not form to the shape they said.
I Hope you like it as much as I do.
Check for water marks on the resistor. Mine was soaked so it died.
My second failed for what ever reason (was second hand).
The third is a new OEM one from ebay for £20. working fine so far
No idea if they doing door shuts. I wouldn't have expected so.
The wrap is free as I won a competition.
The tinting is £80 for 3 windows.
Then I'm paying some extra as they had to remove some plastidip and oil from the edges.
I will grab a price for who ever is interested when I pick it up...
Hey
so dropped my car off on Saturday.
It's currently being wrapped in matt anthracite.
Along with ear window tinting.
here are some pics of the progress!
will update when I get more updates!
I have contacted Directline yesterday and asked that they add my new wrap to my Policy. And they said ok...
if i crashed they would take into account the cost of repairs Inc wrapping a new body panel if required.
Price depends on who does it.
If it's a proper.company more around 1k.
If it's a chap in his garage doing it for cash on the side then more like £500-£700.
And it depends on the wrap used.
Well yea, but you need to account for mistakes. And an extra 30 quid is worth the extra wrap.
plus if any needs redoing later it's helpful to have spare.
not that it apply to the OP as he just wants to do bonnet and roof
