Sorry, forgot to say i had used your pic. The guide was very useful once i had read it properly!!!!
I also have the traction control light on all the time, don't know why, surely that has nothing to do with the controls on the wheel?
I have put 2 resistors in the aibag connectors but it didn't work, light still came on with the service light!!! Im going to strip it down again and have another look this week.
Its 330mm called a sparco 383 wheel, £95 + vat from tweeks.
Finally got it changed today thanks to looney and chris turbo for the advice.
Can't decide if im going to put the silver horn button on or not yet, might do a temporary fix and see if i like it!
I have fitted the wheel now, but both the service and airbag lights are on. I have fitted 3.3 ohm, 1.6amp resistors to both the airbag connectors(as in the pic, http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n130/renaultsport/Random%20172%20Bits/SteeringWheelRemoval4.jpg) and the lights are still on! Any...
One of my best mates has one with a few essential mods, full group N engine mounts, solid rear bushes (removes passive rear steer), group N skip browns suspension set up with custom billies and a quaife diff with a 5.2:1 final drive. Best handling FWD car i have been in, and loads faster than my...
The kit looks very good, are you on a stand at trax or just doing track time, becasue i would like to have a look. Is the caliper avaliable in other colours, ie silver?
The Lambo was very nice, got a pic of that as well.
I would say that the 182's seamed faster on the day, but that could be down to circuit knowledge etc. It seamed quite odd that only 1 of the exhausts had the blackening, not sure why. It does make the 172/182 look old though, im happy...
This was taking part in a 6hr VLN race on Saturday, so took a couple of pics. It was pretty fast and sounded very nice indeed.
Also a couple of 182 Racers as well.
Mine has just clocked 35,000 since July 25th last year, thats 13 months boys and girls!!!!!!!!
Not a problem with it yet, not even any of the usual faults, and it hasn't been wrapped in cotton wool (especially with its 3rd ring trip this weekend!!!).
Mines now been on since September last year and has done 30k. Mine is different to Rory's becasue the tailpipes are welded to the system (the way they should be, think its a bit weird and very poor that they aren't) and the adjustment between the two pipes is at the tailpipe, not between the...
I totally agree, i did 200miles around Oulton park in Feb with DS2500, goodridge etc and the brakes just about lasted, then at the ring in May they were just about ok on steady laps but on fast laps (i only do these at certain times of the day at the ring when traffic is at its lowest) they fell...
In aerodynamic terms it will, the extra drag that the spoiler makes will mean that you are effectively driving a car with 14bhp less. However this isn't something that will happen at all speeds/drag conditions, it should only effect the top speed of the car and will reduce it considerably if...
I want tom Decat mine, but i dont want the light on my dash on all the time! Andy, any idea when you have this tested/ready to sell?
If i order a decat from you, do you fancy chucking one in for me to test?
