    Agree with edde. After 2-3 years youll want to change to the latest model. 5 years is a bloody long time to finance a car. Its not really interest free as youll be paying £13800 which is way over priced for a cup version. They bump up the list price to make it look like its interest free.

    Id suspect you being quicker than an RS on the strip but once moving i reckon youd get shafted neil. However an RS is capable of a 14.9 0-100 (evo) with a good driver and thats with a fully laden car so strip the RS and put a good driver in and youd be in the rear view mirror all the way up...

    Yes of course it will mate, but not so sure about mid range poke, ie 60+. Its 0-60 is still impressive, even in todays terms. Mondeos and astras will hold on to it 60+ to top end though. As standard of course. Back in its time, no doubt about it, it was a quick car but things have moved on.

    Standard times are 24 secs definitely. The williams being around 21secs and the 172 being around 18secs. Cup and 182 slightly quicker. The 16v is not a fast car as standard, its simply normal performance! Your video needs to show a 0-106mph or so not 0-100.
