Strange how they seem to recognise there is a problem but cant find it if they have checked everything??
Do you have different tyres on the back to the front then?
did you notice it after they fitted the new tyres?
Like clio chris says if you can change/ borrow some other front wheels see if it...
I have absolutley no problems with warranty only the other month did I have the drivers side air vent replaced coz it rattles when open car is 2 years old and lowered and zorst!
Can you explain where the rattle comes from its behaviour etc?
Rob.
Is it a problem that suddenly occured at 6kmiles? have you hit/bumped anything etc??
Rob.
PS why, if already your tyres are ok would they want to change them, what reason?
Its right by the M25 not sure which junction though! I find them very good there not had any problems with them only good things, give them a call.. Not on MSN mate.
Rob.
Ive got the exact same problem with my 182 its not a major issue ive been told but am getting it done regardless coz its under warranty.
Not sure what they do exactly but I know it involves 2 rubber o rings and for the 1st 100 or so miles gear change will seem a little stiffer.
For peace of mind...
Hi mate im having my clutch replaced in a couple of weeks the problems I have are exactly how you describe. (18k)
I notice it worse when im on off the bite moving the clutch pedal slowly whilst in traffic is very springy, creaky, sticky etc.. Or when im reverse parking etc...They said they will...
Ive just posted on your other post that is a complete joke honestly! Why on earth is it sitting like that can you take some under car shots, mounts etc?
Rob.
Ive just bought from them £688 with £300 excess 182 with cat back magnex and eibach springs.
I was well happy to start with coz the young lad made a mistake and qouted me £488 when I phoned back he told me he had quoted me wrong!!
10 times that is an outrage!!!!! Surely its simple, you have a problem with your exhaust they agree to replace it, they fit the new one end of!!!......
Id get straight on the blower to Renault UK this is completely un acceptable!!!
Rob.
Ive just looked on a few more sites the part number I keep getting is;
E-60-75-001-01 22
Which appears to be for : Clio B 1.4,1.4 16v, 1.6, 1.5dci, 1.9, 1.9dti no mention of 2.0?
Is this the application for the 2.0 aswell?
cheers
Rob.
Im well tempted by this I have been building up to buy some dampers for a while I am currently running Eibach pro springs was debating which shock to go for koni or eibach??
Please can someone just confirm that a non cupped 182 is the same fitment as the 172?
and that the shocks advertised on...
Im a little thrown off by the applications to be honest?? All the places ive checked list it as clio B but never any mention of the 2.0.. 1.4 - 1.9 etc
Janspeed is the first place ive seen it that they advertise them for the 172,
Is the clioB 1.4 1.6 1.9 the same application for the 2.0??
Lam7r not sure on the difference between mk1 mk2. I have a non cupped 182 which is basically a 172 in terms of suspension they only list it as 172...
Rob.
Ps anyone no how good these dampers actually are over standard 182??
www.janspeed.com
Should see Janspeed direct, scroll down on the left side to suspension and hit dampers (pro dampers)
select 172 option on page 2, apparently only £169.20...........
now they have either made a mistake or are really poor for the car or its completely legitt and a bloody...
See thats the thing Doc car will probably never see a track so road me thinks all though never say never!?! lol
It definatly needs something else though regardless. All I really want to achieve is to just sweeten the non cupped 182 up a little, I want my car to remain standard looks wise, but...
In the book Darren the tyre pressure state 33psi up front and 30psi at the rear, have you tried changing your pressure?
A few people do use different tyre pressures on here but why not give it a whirl??
Rob.
Hi thedoc im not at all tempted to swap springs for the sportline in terms of drop the pro kit is just right, its just that springs on there own at the moment still feel like its missing something???
Will fitting shocks take even more lean out of the corners?
Rob.
Ive have a non cupped 182 and am currently running Eibach pro springs.
To be honest in terms of handling I was at first a bit dissapointed when I had these fitted to the car, there was an improvment over standard but still a fair bit of roll through the corners.
Ive now decided to purchase...
I just fancy trying something special, if you can call it that... Im nearly on 18k and am gonna change the oil myself so will be saving some pennies on labour there..
Thats definatly the right stuff in terms of grade, fully synth yeah?
Rob.
