Re: iPhone Q&A DONT START ONE QUESTION IPHONE THREADS. **POST HERE**
Right, i have followed many tutorials, both written and youtube video's about getting ringtones (or rather converting songs on iTunes to ringtones) and each time i have the same problem.
Once i've created my ringtone and...
Aye untill a few years ago Glenrothes was known for not having any traffic lights, roundabouts were the answer to all traffic problems, theres a few lights now mind, in the strangest of places.
Just recieved a text from Orange (on my number which is now o2)
'Hi from Orange. Sorry you're leaving us due to our price changes from Sept. We're no longer making these changesd & would love you to stay, call 150 and select option 4 to talk to us.'
I hope they aint gonna harass me forever.
so are they not allowing them to cancel now or just refusing to give PAC codes? If they promised me mine then said after I had bought my iPhone that I wasn't getting to cancel I'd be seriously hacked off.
Just get the phone without PAC code, it'l give you time to set it all up, sync it with pc/mac and get all your tunes and vids on, itl take days for them to transfer number.
Although i believe if you buy one instore and have the code they can do it there and then, i couldn't wait though.
When you request a PAC code you have 30 day's in which to use it, i cancelled mine on Friday and requested a PAC code at the same time, then went straight out and got an iPhone, a letter has just arrived from Orange begging me to stay but also giving me the PAC code, i promptly phoned O2 who...
Got my iPhone on Friday, the day i cancelled with Orange and they told me i'd have my pac code within 48 hours, i'm still waiting, was expecting it here today.
I'm same as DK, i seen this thread, cancelled my contract and had my iPhone activated within 3 hours.
When you get that idea in youre head about something you just gotta roll with it.
Exactly, i wonder if i can get away with telling my car insurance company i don't need it because i have not had a claim in ten years.

Read post 151 mate, i never went over mine in 4 months, not by a long long way.
Doesn't matter, it's still a breach of contract, think of all those times you wanted to upgrade but couldn't cancel because you had signed a 'contract' they wanted silly money to end it early, yet they seem to...

Right guys, im not too technical and have just got myself an iPhone 3gs, how the hell do i get music and films onto it? Dont tell me i'm going to have to pay for music.
Apologies if this has been covered, i did search but...
I'm posting on my new iPhone rob h is a ledge for this thread this morning I was in the dark ages now I'm on iPhone when I work out how to use commas and the phone itself itl be happy days
The biggest problem is the network coverage, dont know about the UK in general but it's poor where i am, its also expensive, by about £20 more than i was previously.
I cancelled and he asked if i knew about the charges, i said no, basically, they are only charging 10p per call if you go over...
I have unlimited internet, only took my contract out in April and i left o2 who i had been with for 7 years, biggest mistake i've made in the mobile era, i'll be cancelling with Orange as soon as i get through, and go back to o2 with my tail between my legs.
