The slim is quieter by a country mile mate, When my release date model packed in insurance paid out for a new one, which was slim, even after lots of game play when the fan kicks in it is barely audible. This is the only plus side of the slim IMO, i see it as a dumbed down version.

Trophies are stored online iirc, on Sonys servers. Even if you log in on a different console your trophies will still be there. However anyone who actually keeps track of trophies is a bit sad, surely nobody actually does that.

Ever tried sending an MMS without using wifi? 3G is not always available, in fact it's not available either where i live or work and emailing, even without any attatchments is impossible.

There is an app that gives fully functioning Bluetooth and mp3's can be set as message and ringtones, you just have to know how to do it. Sent from my iPhone using a high speed browser, without the need for a stylus that doesn't work.
