Don't think there are issues with Milltek with the exception of this bad batch. And they seem happy enough to replace if you do have a problem –*definitely one of the best looking and sounding systems available for the 182 I reckon
Thanks for the listing link - had my eye on that one, if it...
Evening
I've not got any puncture repair cans with my 182, is this the same stuff?

Mentions its made for Renault for the Scenic. How big are...
Quick update on this*- supplied the part/batch number to Milltek and they're going to replace it FOC. Guess it was a part of their bad batch of exhausts with dodgy welds!
Fantastic customer service from Milltek IMO :)
Right, it's gun-gummed up now -*used a whole tin of the stuff! Fingers crossed it'll hold for a little while, if only to stop me going deaf until I find a replacement system!
Thanks Dave
Anyone know if this has got any hope of passing an MOT with some carefully place gun gum? Can you request which tailpipe they take the reading from?
Will a Yozza back box fit on to the Milltek centre pipe does anyone know?
Think I prefer the sound of the Milltek (when it hasn't got a huge hole in it!), but if a yozza would fit then it would have to be a consideration
Evening all
Bought my new 182 on Saturday and have had a massive smile on my face since then… well until tonight.
The car is fitted with a Milltek straight through exhaust system, which looks and sounded awesome. It was perfectly fitted when I picked it up and there was no way either me or...
I'm sure this might have been asked before, but I've done a quick search and i'm not finding any answers very easily (could just be rubbish at searching)
These silver vision bulbs...
Just got my insurance sorted with a company called Livingstones Warman (http://www.lwib.co.uk/) on a 182 with exhaust, suspension, wheels (turinis) and brakes mods – came in at £650, which was £400 less than what I'd been quoted with admiral (in Manchester)
If you're looking for a good company...
Just looked at this again -*getting the 182 in less than two weeks so need to get it sorted, will check out nowellandrichards
Bit of a predicament with Livingstones Warman, and i'm guessing the same with other insurance companies too... basically they'll insure me on the 8th October and are...
Livingstones Warman have come at £660!! Need to speak to them to find out some cover details (courtesy car, protected NCB etc) but that much cheaper is awesome, cheers Al!
Thanks, will try both of them this week –*picking up the 182 second weekend in October so got a bit more time to shop around. Will post on here how I get on...
Evening –*i'm from manchester too, live in the city centre (well just down the road from Renault Manchester!) , although am missing a 182 at the moment –*should have one sorted by the start of October so definitely up for meeting everyone…
Cheers for that, rang Brentacre this morning and they've come in £40 cheaper – slightly more expensive excess, but includes commuting on the policy (which wasn't on the Admiral one). Also their policy on non-performance modifications has sealed the deal really – basically as long as the change...
Evening all, i'm looking at getting hold of a 182 in the not-to-distant future and live in Manchester.
I've been shopping round for insurance quotes and so far the cheapest I can get is £1089.
This is declaring exhaust and brake modifications, with 8 years(!) NCB, kept overnight in a...
Gav – I went to view this car last Saturday
Bodywork not in bad condition, no dings/scratches – interior not quote as good, steering wheel thumbgrips just been taken of leaving the sharp hard plastic.
Exhaust is a Scorpion 192.
Dealer wouldn't let me drive it unless I was going to buy it if I...
Didn't get the reg but definitely took it as a sign to get my 182 sooner rather than later!
Had spent the morning driving my mate round looking at 57 plate Clio 2.0 dynamiques, headed for lunch down at Binary when we got back to Manchester then the Trophy rolled past – definitely getting a 182...
