it will boil easily on the standard pads mate.
id say:
proper stainless brake lines (be wary of the cheaper galvanised jobbies)
565H Ferodo DS2500's
Brembo HC discs
and some good spec 5.1 fluid.
best bet is run your hand on the inside of the bumper, and when you feel the clips at the top try and pull them down a bit whilst pushing it through the bumper. it feels a bit barbaric but it will go, it does need quite a bit of force to go though.
Dawn ill come sort that for you if youll sort...
Im hopefully going to get some H&R's in the next few weeks or so, and ideally would like to get them refurb'd before fitting.
Anyone know who is an authorised repairer?
Cheers
i had similer, although on a 182 and the plug had corroded slightly. i gave it a clean with some wd40 and they were sorted. but had to get bumper off to do it lol
They shouldn't be a problem. I'll grab a 13 mm deep socket tomorrow.
I'll attempt to undo all the bolts tomorrow to make sure they are going to come undone ok.
I'm guessing there's 4 bolts per seat.
Cheers for the help and sorry for the hijack :o
fletch how easy are the recaros to remove? im getting some sparco buckets next week, and will be driving to meet the chap with them fitted, and intending to swap over in services! Im guessing its not too simple??
