13mm ratchet spanners will get the mc out real quick, unless youre on a 4 port which is a pain no matter what tools you have.
Also I dont think the 197 mc is anything to shout about, if you are doing work then chuck it on but I think the risk of having to bleed the pump again is not worth it.
Slow progress but not much to do now..
Have all the necessary brake and clutch fittings, Ap racing R3 brake fluid on order and have spoken to pms about the clutch slave mount.
It needs an mot and to be tax'd, just gotta put fresh tyres on the front and have a quick check over everything, but I...
Heres an injury story fueled by special needs. It was the last week of a-levels, I had only a couple written exams left. Some mates and I were walking out of the grounds but the car was parked further at the other end, closer we got I thought it would be quicker to hop the wooden fence, climbed...
@Darren61 Appreciate it, will be looking at bars
@bloke Sorry to hear that, i think thats made my mind up on what I want to do

Im looking for the buckle that fits the clio belts that can just bolt on the side mounts, the one that is more fixed.
Seen a mk3 one but its completely fixed...
@jayb1985 I just had a brief look at mine, probably best bet to put up a wanted thread for one, unless you can fix it somehow but would have to be in hte exact spot!
Stubborn dealer would rather it rot to its death than sell it for a reasonable price. At this stage just cut your losses and get it moved.. Whats he going to do with it in another 5 years time?
Looking forward to seeing this up and running! Im very envious of the engine bay ?
For ignition take out the small torx screw, then as you turn the key to start you pry a couple tabs underneath
@YorkshireKyle I had a premade -3 line from goodridge that was perfect for the clutch, been sitting for over a year now! Tbf I think I might get this one crimped as the fittings on their own are more expensive.
@jayb1985 Thanks! Although its more determination than knowledge ? I am still where it ended on my last post though very close to getting the pedal box finished. Its very easy to drive quick with the setup, plenty of feedback and confidence inspiring.
