Re: Best Internet Deals for Unlimited Internet. How good is BT, Sky and Virgin Media
My Mrs' parents have BT Unlimited too, despite my advice against.
Sure enough, their download and upload speeds are pathetic, the Homehub hangs every so often and the wireless drops out (both of which cause...

A quick bodge together of a couple of videos taken from inside the car.
Ignore the squeaky window wipers and dodgy sounding passenger. And yes, I know I have a stone chip (I actually have seven :( )
Where are you from Dan?
What I mean is that it sounds better when you're actually stood next to it than it does on video. The video seems to muffle the sound a little bit so that it sounds slightly different to normal. It gives you a decent enough idea though.
For what it's worth, I'm currently running with a set of Eibach Sportlines and they do improve the handling a bit over standard springs (less body roll mainly). That said, I wouldn't bother getting them to try to improve the handling because they're not hugely better than standard. You'd be...
I don't think a Stealth would be right on this car.
A recess in the bumper would be better, and possibly a round slash cut tailpipe.
It's not like he's trying to hide the fact it's quick :p
I'm sorry but you aren't going to notice the difference playing Xbox Live. It's simply not intensive enough on bandwidth to matter. A decent wireless setup is more than adequate for playing XBL and streaming video (even HD because the data is biased largely in one direction)
I love how everyone bangs on about wireless being crap for pings. I bet half of you don't even truely understand what a ping is, what it does, how it's constructed and what it means in the real world.
If you've got decent equipment and a decent signal there's no reason for it to be any worse...
Re: Best Internet Deals for Unlimited Internet. How good is BT, Sky and Virgin Media
50mbit Virgin Media broadband here and it's fantastic. Never set a foot wrong and I can always get about 6Mb/s of data down.
Their customer service is shocking though. Every time you ring them for whatever...
I'll be able to take a video of mine idling and revving tomorrow morning. I can't take a video of me driving past though - I have inferior camera equipment (a mobile phone) :(
Who gives a toss? Really?
The performance difference is only very slight and it could be clawed back by eating fewer take-aways or having a s**t before you leave the house.
Plus I don't have to worry about cups being quicker anyway
As above really. If your current engine is shagged then go ahead and buy a new one. If it isn't, just get the belts changed and a full service and it'll keep going for years.
As above really. The technology will surface again at some point but at the moment everybody is jerking off over 3D TV. I'm not fussed about 3D TV myself... I don't want to wear "special" glasses to watch the telly.
Belts should be changed every 70,000 miles / 5 years IIRC (whichever comes sooner).
Make sure it's not suffering from any of the common problems (do a search and scan through a few threads to find out exactly what).
For £500 I'd say uprated disks, pads and braided lines along with some decent...
Strange. I've never come across a VXR that could keep in my rear view mirror so if they're all running well over 300bhp and have LSD's fitted, the simple fact of the matter is that they're a crock of s**t.
