Yes you can, however it's not legal to tow anything with a RS, due to them not having a towing weight capacity.
(PS i have one for sale if you really want it, came off my cup)
it's the electronic version of the autodata manual. It's what i used with the renault clio cd to rewire mine. You can get it online. The renault one you may have probs getting hold of. What do you need them for?
great, super, not...............
a 130 tdi will not beat an RS
a 150 tdi will not beat an RS
yes a tuned one will, but my tuned cup will desimate your tuned TDI's all day long.
Meet me at Santa Pod for USC and i'll show you.
I do like the turbo diesels, great for overtaking, i was following a...
agree with Eckascliovalver, New 197, cheap fuel! Whatever. I'll stick with my 6 year old cup and 99 ron fuel..
The weight you put in for the dyno results seems a litte heavy. i thought the 197 weighs 1240kgs, dunno if that would affect the rstuner or not.
mmmm ok....if you think so. it must be very light. the post says he only had the back seats out and 195 bhp. i have no back seats, no soundproofing etc totalling 87kgs lighter and approx 240bhp (233 at last RR tune, more mods since then)
i'll see in 2 weeks like i said.
5k +vat. but it's a turbo. loads of torque and broken gearboxes.
Mine's n/a, no lag, just goes like stink.
no idea what 0-60 is, 2 reasons why; traction and too busy changing gears
doing santa pod in 2 weeks, so i'll see then. 'should be mid 13's all going well'
It's also very expensive to get the power.....
I had 233bhp (more now) after spending in the region of £5k for parts alone (did a lot of the work myself)
i bleed mine with the car on the ground, not hard to get to.
i would have thought you would need weight on the wheels for the bias valve, but not sure.
My last track day (airfield) had them set at max hard and was very good, i usually run them 1/4 - 1/2 max (soft to hard) on the road. wind them front soft to hard and count the number of turns and work it out fom that.
they are koni lowering springs and top adj shocks. I know cos i've got them. Rears are adj under black rubber covers in the boot. Fronts under the bonnet. Your cup would be higher than that if it was standard springs
just ordered some powerflex bushes for my cup. I was asked if it was 23 or 25 mm arb. I did a search and turns out 172's had 23's and 182's had 25's, however my cup has 25's fitted and it's a 172!
Anyone shed any light on this?
