Ive seen a clio sport for sale but with no service history. Its cheap and only has 25k but without the history Im a bit put off. The guy bought it from an insurance company, apparently it was vandalised and needed a new roof skin. would I be mad to consider it?

Hi, Im new to the forum and looking for a clio 172. I Went to see a 2001 mk2 yesterday with 33k and really liked it but someone beat me to it apparently. Anyway, was wondering if you guys have an opinion on which is better, the mk1 or mk2? hopefully wont stir up a nest! cheers:)
