It never crossed my mind for some reason. I suppose Its the initial outlay of £300-400 for a phone that was off putting. I "think" I am currently on the orange Panther (old one without swapables) and NEVER come close to ANY of my limits. Not even halfway I would imagine.

Actually I could just go to giffgaff for £10 a month unltd everything (believe thats going upto £12 in a few days??) I didn't realise how cheap going PAYG can work out in comparison.

Blimey im tempted to buy the Nexus 4 and cancel my contract. Just can't figure out if I would actually save anything. £36 for 24 months = £864 (thats with UNLTD texts/calls and 1gb of data) Or buy it outright for £279 and spend around 10-15 on orange for a similar plan to mine.

I "was" tempted to get the 920 but after seeing EE's price plans for it im out. £46 for 24 months. Jog on.

I bought a Nexus 7 yesterday. 32gb Version. I like it at the minute although having usual Android issues with Album art and having to do all the clear data etc and reboot to get them showing.

Is it heavy then?

Being a relative newb to these can you get a case for a nexus that has keyboard built in? Has anyone used them and are they any good??

What he said. "Technically" it is doable but there are soo many flaws like Dr Rollo has said. Too many blackspots which can only be overcome by additional masts I would imagine. But then you can't put a mast somewhere as you get cancer...

IMO phone companies want to do it so people do away with home internet. And use mobile internet as the main provider. There was a big piece on it in one of the industry magazines within the last couple of years.

Maybe I am having a blonde moment but I don't quite understand that (seen a few people banging on about it on bookface) For things like surfing CS, Receiving emails and other bits that I do I can't see how I would use 3GB faster then my normal 3G usage. A webpage/email is still only xx amount...

That picture is rubbish...you should be ashamed. Yes more then likely. If you look at your dish and your line of sight, if any tall trees or other objects are in the way = loss of signal. Might notice it more in windy conditions if trees are the culprit
