I can't link to it at work but evo magazine uploaded a buyers guide this week which may be worth a little read for you too
Edit: it seems I can so http://www.evo.co.uk/renault/clio/6245/renaultsport-clio-182-buying-guide-last-of-the-old-school-hot-hatches-for-under
Excellent work, as you said there's certainly a sub 8 mins between you and the car.
On a side note I think car throttle are your number one fanboys these days :)
This is Adrians car, @Ade182.
Beautiful car and I can vouch for how well everything has been done on it, well worth a look if anyone is looking for a turbo clio.
Gives me something to go on then thanks! I'm a really awkward size, I'm 6ft 5, slim (32 waist) but with really wide shoulders so finding a seat is a nightmare.
I'm aiming for a set of these myself at some point, I've read that they are quite a narrow seat so I think i'll have to find somewhere to try them first.
Thought I would post up in here for once, I've just done a 1781 mile roadtrip 3 up with luggage and tools, 3 laps on the ring and 1 session on the GP track and the trip computer recorded an average of 38.1mpg over the whole trip...astonishing.
I am going to take note of the gallons used and...
We share the same logic it seems! I was pretty much just sat on the right hand side with my indicator on haha, it didn't help that they released the bikes about a minute after I went out too.
Video is here if you fancy seeing a slow moving clio, the panda is my friends, I was following him...
I drove my first 4 laps of the ring last week, 2 of which were in what I would describe as a monsoon.
My fastest lap was something daft like 13.5 mins bridge to gantry, very slow but I was out there in the frame of mind to enjoy myself and drive the car home.
It isn't somewhere I would like to...
You decided to go for one then, nice work, I was trying to avoid sending Ste a message myself so you've saved me there haha.
What's replacing it @Mr Burns ?
I'll second Andys top work, as always a good laugh was had while he worked on the car.
Also your car really makes me want boost, we'll have to go for a few pics once mine finally gets a good clean again :)
Feedback thread for them is here should you wish to do some reading to put your mind at rest.

They are a genuine outfit, I have ordered many different parts from them including 4 new shocks this week, phone them on 01902251231 and see what they can do for you :)
Mines fast approaching 110k, I've owned it for the last 18months/25k and it is still yet to put a foot wrong, I've had literally 0 zero mechanical issues other than maintenance items.
As said if you have a well looked after one you're laughing :)
@andybond A bit blurry but hopefully someone got some better ones of you
