Took the broken engine mount off the car today now its warmed up a bit. Will phone R Sport on Monday to see if I can get another one. Swithering whether to drop the whole engine/subframe assemby and check it / clean it / get some bits powder coated.

Hey Ian, They are actually longer in that pic than they are now. They are 1.5cm now. I wanted the steering wheel back up a bit as it was too low.

Have binned the old battery tray and relocated the XAP unit. Also found this fuse box and negitive buzzbar. I had individual power cables coming from a distribution box to a fuse box and then out to the accessories so cuts down on the amount of cabling.

The hairdryer doesnt't work that well, better than nothing but defo not as good as a normaly cars blower system. Must use some power. Dont think there is any advantage of that fuel rail. Was probably just so they could fit it with the briaded hose? Still doesnt have a return.

Ive tidied up the Renaultsport loom. Removed a lot of wiring. Also removed the fuel/power steering relay. Im going to make a new seperate relay for this. Found a nice sleeving for the wiring. Omex / Switches / Instrument wiring to sort now.

Thanks Soot1e - I think thats exactly what I need. Do you have that spacer as well as a big flat washer that goes against the end of the shaft sticking out from the rear axel?

Local Renault garage. Only other option is R77 00 204 901 - which I believe is discs without the abs ring - not sure if the bearing is any different. Or if I buy a new set of spacer rings from Renault maybe they will be different from the ones I have? Wheres Fred when you need him. :(

Just had a look again and the bearing is much much smaller in the new hubs/discs. Probably a good 5mm smaller. Plus as I said the wheel bearing is resessed by about 5mm. Hub I had the wheel bearing was almost flush with the hub. Supposed to be taking the car out on the 21st. :mad:

Can anyone help? I have a clio cup race car. I needed new rear brakes so got R77 01 204 901 discs from Renault. With the old hubs the bearing was flush with the hubs. Therefore when the hubs were put on the car the hubs sat on the little round spacer and span freely. With the new discs...

Thanks guys, just got a bit confused with the bearings coming attached on some discs. And the ABS ring - no ABS ring. This is what happened to the old one. :D

Hi, Can anybody give me info about 172/182 Cup Car brakes? I need new back disks but looking at the Ktec website they arent the same as normal clio disks. Someone mentioned the brakes are maybe off a laguna? Any help appreciated. Cheers.

Got them from the local Parks Renault, good service, they had them in 2 days. It was £18 including vat for the 12 of them. James - thats what I did before but they didnt sit flush all the way along, some parts were flush to the car and others were sticking out. Fitted these clips last...

Hi Everyone, Does anyone know if Renault still sell the side skirt clips for a Clio 172/182 Cup? I took the skirts off a year or two ago and in my infinite wisdom threw away the clips and bonded the skirts on, god knows why. :rolleyes: Cheers.

As per previous posts you only really have to use the clutch on downshifts to help the box. This is the same with most sequential boxes. Upshifting just pull the lever hard and fast.

Can someone help me with wiring for the 172 fuel pump. The connection is 4 pin - positive, earth, sender and something else? Can anyone look up / tell me order of the pins? Wire colour? And what the 4th wire is for? Thanks in advance. :)
