For the last 2 days (both have been very cold) my O/S/R hand brake has been stuck on. Yesterday it wasn't so bad and I could get to my workshop to have a look at it. Took the caliper and pads out, cleaned it up, back together fine. This morning it is -10 and it is properly stuck on, only got a...
They were using it as the course car at the 24hr race. Had a good look round one that was parked in scruteneering, under the bonnet looked proper factory (was expecting it to look a little thrown in). Their ugly as f**k but the 'R' is so bonkers, I think the looks suit it in this case.
Spare mechanic and then re-fueling during the running.
Missed the race finish one :rasp: but tah
From what I hear there were some good battles up the front. Got regular updates from the mrs who downloaded the live timing stuff and had a mini race controll going on lol.
I was pretty...
I've got an arm wrest in mine which makes cruising much easier
I'm in the 21st centry and I've got the multi tune point with a USB stick loaded with tunes in the glove box ;)
Firstly these are all iphone pics so they're crap. Also couldn't imbed the Youtube videos, maybe a mod can edit for me? :approve:
Any way, late in 2011 I got a call from United Autosport asking to work at the Dunlop Dubai 24hr this year on an MP4C Mclaren, I um'd and ah'd and eventualy said...
Still going strong! Thought more would have sprung up by now.
As you've now discovered Ged, they bolt and plug in no need for changing plugs etc. Best thing I ever did to it was fit those seats.
Who at Renault decided a 1.2 16v was a sport :slap:? Any way I would expect the reason it's loud is becuase it's fucked and not been looked after. Whether the 'new' engine is any better depends on how well that's been looked after as well.
Just replied to your PM Dan.
I did it on the eveing of the 20th after I asked about it. It was a bit of a faf and needed to fudge some 'special tools' due to the lack of space. Had to put an 8mm spanner onto the shaft of a 3/8" drive torx bit (can't remember the size, it was either T40 or T45)...
That's destined to melt off then, of course if it can ever go fast enough to need to actualy stop and get warm. You can get proper high temp brake paint from helfrauds that will put up with heat and stop them from flaking :):race:
When I bought my spacers I was toying with getting 25mm on the rear. The rear is around 10mm narrower IIRC but I decided to keep the difference between front and back the same.
I've got 20mm spacers on mine and it gives it a much better stance with the lowering. I've only droped my 30mm in Eibach springs but I hit my SX splitter on and smallest of slopes with it lowered that small amount.
Seeing as there seem to be so many belts and different terms thrown around. Is this the alternator and aircon pump belt tensioner or the cambelt one? Is it engine life threatening?
