bumming it through cleftfoot, i tried to make out what it said underneath the numberplate in text...
(windows where manky tho - and my washers frozen, so it was difficult enough to see anything)
plus i was trying to get through castlemilk without...
wonder if they still have my trade in 182 - or did its arse fall out from underneath it when they tried to get it on the car transporter...
ive had no trouble with the 230 yet from parks..(altho it wasnt a new car - so all the glitches have prob been dealt with by the old owner)

im not an expert - but would the revs be higher on tick over if your battery was low on juice? and trying to recharge itself??
or does it only do that whilst moving..

if sooo...check under the car where the exhaust joins the manifold (at the front) the bit that hangs lower...
check the spring attachments that hold the exhaust together..
if one has perished it will rattle like f**k under acceleration...eventually the exhaust will start...
any pics of these problems? in other threads etc??
seems like a hell of a lot of problems you landed with this one..see they havent got any better with the durability of anything..
go to the RUN in the start menu..
run msconfig...
go to the start-up tab and unclick all the SHITE that loads on start up...
(prob wont let u end it on ctr alt del if its already running...)
