I for one wont be driving all the way down Bents Park road, from Gypsies Green to the Sundial there aren't that many speed bumps and that's the route which has been set out. Cruising around shields is a nightmare for speedbumps, if that's what your doing but I know I'm not working on that plan!

I stayed at a place called the Star caravan park, toilets were clean pub was down the road and Alton towers 4 miles away :) I'd love it if I had the money spare but it's unlikely for me, saving for summer holiday and Alton towers ain't cheap these days.

My Clio is fairly low and I dont have too much trouble down there. On the route we are taking you will only HAVE to go over 4 bumps maximum and none of them are ridiculous. My car is pretty low and the exhaust tickles it if I don't keep one wheel off the bumps. I've been to places far worse

Maybe making it non bank Hol and it would work out miles cheaper in the long run to, a Tuesday/Wednesday combo after a bank holiday might be a thought to consider. Think about it, who the hell does ANYTHING on those days... Everyone else is back to work and you get to play out for 2 days where...

Has always worked in the past for forum meets :) i live in boldon so its dead easy for me to meet fellow CS members there for the roll down to shields to. Got a few of the bits done on the car this week but the weathers dead against me!

Good idea this, I work bank holidays so no chance I'd be there but I'm sure there will be interest. I went to a meet at AT a few years ago and it was spot on, it's a fair drive from here but it's worth it.
