Need to replace one on the Cup as it has a serious leak but has anyone replaced one and found the handling is unbalanced due to the other not being fresh? Actual experience rather than pure opinions please.....no offence intended!:)

On Dyke Road Avenue today at about 2pm ish. I was in the passenger seat of an Iceberg 182 (Johners) that turned into a side road about 3 cars infront of you. Thought it could be Piers B but im pretty sure that his car isn't lowered and on Anthracite wheels.

I know its cliche...but if the Monaco Blue lot are then why the hell not us? And it'll sure make interesting reading come March if its kept updated.... 1. Ollie1982

First one, LY05 EHN heading towards Palmeria Square at around 10pm ish last night. Second one, GP05 LTF parked in the Churchill Square 2 car park at about 12.30 today. Both looked very tidy.

A 172 Cup with an aftermarket exhaust hanging rather low going down the A23 towards Brighton at around about 12.45 then a Flame Red 172 shortly after on the same road. Then saw an Illiad blue 182 with a same coloured 255 V6 not far behind it on the A281 just by the A24 junction at Horsham at...

Parked off the main road into Ripley just opposite the Mitsubishi dealer at around 5.45pm. From what i could see it was a 172 Cup with a 182 style exhaust but i only caught a quick glance. If not then it was an Arctic 182 with Turinis on!

Has anyone given it a go? Had mine up on the ramp tonight and im considering changing the drivers side one to see if it stops this knocking i have. Is it simply a case of undoing the two bolts on the underside of the lower wishbone and the one on the hub?

Took a different route home from the girlfriends place in Brighton tonight and decided to try the A283 as i've heard its a nice route. Not long after joining it i had a familiar looking set of Xenons filling my rearview....a 197 with the plate 19 MAT (or i think thats what it looked like). Game...

Heading towards Burpham from Guildford, not far from the parade of shops. THink the reg ended in something like HFK....can't be sure though.

Does anyone know how much one weighs?

Another 172 Cup heading southbound on the A3 near Guildford this evening at about 5.30. Reg number was **52 GSK i think.

I have a friend who has a 225 Cup and after showing a Type R who's boss at the weekend he has decided to look into remapping as he's power hungry. Does anyone have any experience of remapping a Megane and if so who's best at it? Also what kind of gains in terms of bhp can be expected? Any info...

In the outside lane moving slowly in the traffic just up from me approaching the Cathedral slip road going southbound. Looked pretty standard and no stickers. No doubt another unfamiliar!

Ive had this noise on and off since i got the car. Its from the engine bay without a doubt and it sounds like something juddering or moving about when the car goes over uneven or closely spaced bumps in the roads. Im starting to think its not suspension strut related and its not heavy knocking...

I had just come off the A27 heading towards Sainsburies and you were heading towards the A27...today at about 4.30. You gave a wave.

I came on to the A27 just as you were coming along and you gave an approving nod....around about 4.15ish. Nice exhaust on it as well!:approve:

First i saw a Liquid Yellow Megane which i think was an R26 and then saw Dave (davejm123) in his Arctic Blue 182 a few cars behind....theres no mistaking that cheeky boat race.;) Long time no see mate.

Going back down the layby where all the trucks park up. I was helping unload a transporter parked on the left hand side. Had its windows down and music was up loud....again i failed to spot a reg...my bad.:o

As above, today at about 2.30. I was parked outside 001 Mobile in a silver Elise. Couldn't see a reg number.

Numberplate was quite cool...T4 NGO...pulled out of one of the side roads in Old Woking just up from the mini roundabout today at about 5.20.

Well it was an Inferno 182 with a CAF and what looked to be your numberplates driving thru Ripley today at about 1pm...driven by a guy tho...the other half maybe?

As above, on the northbound carriageway near Burpham last night. Looked as if it had private plates and Anthracite wheels but then again i did have my sunglasses on...:rolleyes:

Maybe buying a 2nd hand 6 month old Stealth Powerflow rear box. Do they bolt straight on in place of the standard box? Also do they vary from box to box in terms. of noise? I know most people have them tuned to how they like it to sound...
