Same thing happened to me, the garage quoted $250 odd (as they dented the door with the force), plus the cost for matching locks. So i just went down the breakers, £2 and ill put up with the dent, as i have Remote central locking i dont use it ever.

Why are all the small cars going all girly, apart from the clio i dont think i can think of a car that a young man could have cred driving.

Is that the Mk1 ph3 or the Mk2 cos your sig says Mk3. The mk2 1.2 8v is the slowest of all the clios, 14.5 to 60, if you were beating an sti its cos he has sh*t reactions or just wasnt racing.

I wanted to do a 0-60 comparison for all the 1.2 clios but i cant seem to find the 0-60 time for the ph1 and ph2 clios on parkers. They have the times for the 1149cc ph3 but that was multipoint injection and quicker. They have no times for the 1171cc single point.
