I think you've missed the point.

Stick it in your pocket with some coins and some keys and wander around with it for a hour. If the thought of doing that leaves you with fear that it'll end up scratched then don't take it out of the case.

f**king autocorrect..... It won't come through on the watch you'll only get the notification if the phone is in standby. it's because in the case of whatsapp the watch is just mirroring what's on the phone.
