changed my wheel today and noticed that there two lugs on the back of the clio 182 wheel and not on the omp boss.
Do you need these lugs on the wheel (see pic below) to drive the steering wheel position sensor? Look at the two slots at the 3 and 9 'o' clock positions.

i fitted stainless tie wraps and used that grease you recommended from halfords. It is hard to put the grease in if you dont pull the the boot back but I managable.

i changed mine the other week for some castrol stuff 75w 80w and it soo much smoother changing gear now. I had to use a flexible funnel and remove the air box to fill it though but u can remove that as it draining out. quick and easy job too.
When you change your steering wheel for a after market, on the clio sport models with traction control does removing the steering wheel cause the esp and serv lights to come on.
Assuming the reisitor trick sorts the air bag.
