My cam's not that good. Basically all you see is the glow from the leds shining through the holes. I used Iceled's gems http://www.litewave.co.uk/iceled_gem.asp Usually have it showing blue or amber, but when I need to read anything just change it to white or green

You can wire to the light in the boot, but you need to connect the -ve to the light, not the +ve.

I've got 12 leds that shine through the little holes at the side of the interior light. Works well, I use them to read maps and addresses etc

I believe it's illegal to have no bumpers. They're designed to protect people if you hit them.

Actually, you do see those cars with them on. They don't have the cheap halfords ones though, but usually the kit I've got.
