+1 Yep these motors are hard as nails..
Does custard have uprated though out of interest?... and im pretty sure they are both running at least 320 too... which i think is only 10 or so bhp away from needing uprated! - bit close if you ask me!.. id rather stay around the 290/300 mark to be on...
Ah gotcha - cheers Mark..
With Engine converted cars such as these, are they any different when it comes to going through an MOT?.. Or exactly the same as if it had its original engine in?...
I know its crazy isnt it!!!... you just cant get the 197 tyres wet or they start to disolve... I called them and they said "you just cant get the 197 tyres wet or they start to disolve"
Fact!
Thats ridiculous!... Renault wont cover the 197 in the rain, I called them and they said "We wont cover the 197 in the rain" the tyres have a warning on the inside of them saying they SHOULDNT be in contact with water at all!!!... this was the slight downside all the magazines didnt like about...
Call Anwar, reno specialist in St Albans/Hemel on 07976 555345 - Say you got his details from Cliosport.net off of Floodie(David) the guy with the cup.. He will help you out....hope you get your problem sorted.... Let me know how you get on chap.
Are those measurments the inside or outside diameters?
Can this be done by decent body shops? I have a bodged cut out job on my cup bumper and was wanting to go stealth again and have it smoothed in... My route was to buy a new bumper but this would be great if its possible to get the cut...
Its all a matter of opinion Jesus... You just cant say the standard 1*2's are 'slow' and 'dangerous'.. really can ya?.. youve been used to a rocket ship for a while now so in your opinion, yeh, it must be a right pain in the arse.. They arent the fastest things in the world by a loooonng way...
ah, sorry, no, i dont need to rumage as its a wire with the dongle at the end of it which can be unplugged... take a look http://www.belkin.com/support/article/?lid=en&pid=F5D9050&aid=6898&scid=0
I think ill go with the PCI route yeh sod it
Crikey many replies... cheers..
- the wrong way round pins issue: i didnt wire it, they are the mobo USB ports on the I/O panel.
- Yep josh, as above, run directly into the I/O USB ports on rear of pc.
- blue_i : thx, point 1 is what im doing now isnt it? and 2, yeh probably worth it...
ok, i'll give the updating drivers a tinkle tonight but as its a brand new build i THINK i dloaded the latest mobo drivers withit.. will check though..
and no, its not a dell either :(
Right, at work at the moment and think i well and truely b0llocked my pc last night... After trying to uninstall the belkin adaptor it crashed halfway through and when i "add/remove" programs, then try to remove the Belkin adapter the screen just flickers and it does nowt, stays there.. i cannot...
yeh thats it.. its this one : http://www.belkin.com/support/article/?lid=en&pid=F5D9050&aid=6898&scid=0
Ive just literally tried farting around with everything.. but nothing sorts it.. least i dont have to pull it out the back of pc anymore, found out i can just disconect the donglebit which...
Snoop: no, i'll try that.. but im pretty sure it will be fine tbh..
Andi-b: Xp - I have just totally rebuilt this pc. It did it before and STILL does it now.... :(
Naa - just tried USBview and it all it does is show the status of the ports, they cannot be played with at all... When its "not working" it says "no device connected" just like any other blank USB port....
ello - really bugs me this..
When ever i switch my PC on i have to pull my usb wi-fi dongle thingie out for for a second then back in for it to work... All other USB peripherals are fine and dont need this doing. Its bloody annoying as its round the back of my pc.
Any ideas chaps?
