They do not look old IMO, obviously if you put a MK1 and a MK2 side by side then the MK1 is gonna start showing its age but I wouldnt say they look retro as such, just a bit older in style. Putting a C4 and an AX next to each other is a different story.

Anyone know what the best satnav to buy is? Only one I have heard of is TomTom Go but I have heard mixed reviews about it.

1.2 is MY only car but I have access to a Toyota Yaris which I take out and show the roads sometimes (Mums car so doesn;t go above 50 normally!!)

yea slice down the top with a stanley and then fold it over, be careful of the button tho incase it falls down into the unit. mine did that and it took fookin ages to get the spring to go back in place and work.

get some mastic or epoxy, thats what i did cos i broke the clips when i took em off to respray em.

depends how mcuh power you want to draw but there is a permanent feed going to the switches in the doors that turn the interior light on when opened.

yea, thats happened to mine (The freezing part that is) took about half hour to clear, tried driving it up the road but the front wheels just started spiining. All good fun. Strangely the boss didnt believe me when I told him why I was late, lol

Call me old fashioned but I used Castrol GTX in mine, but its only a 1.2i. Hope this helps!!
