I think the problem is due to hotter ambient temperatures overnight. I’m suspecting the fuel pump/regulator is allowing the pressure to release when the ambient temperature is hotter.

All engine mounts are new, its actually due to the fact the outer boot pretty much melted on track and spat its grease everywhere. some how the boots twisted round too. it actually started knocking 1 day after the trackday.

dont get a j&r driveshaft. i fitted mine drove home from work and the vibration was horrendous. put the old one back on. still not got a refund!. also dont get a shaftec one, one lasted 3 months the latest one lasted 3 weeks. Are the shafts that ktec sell actually genuine?

What other things don't work in the car? Have you tested the charging rate?

On the p1's it's always worth disconnecting the battery and removing the cem. Blow it out and refit it. They also suffer with slack pin tension on the networks

I've got gaz gha's fitted to my car. Done two track days with them fitted, they have made the car handle really well. I liked the fact the rears were coil over too.

I hate it, Always feels like it does it at the wrong times. Although it is destroying clutch's and flywheel's so thats good for my work.

My old one used to do that, I just used to leave the ignition on for a few seconds before starting and it was normally fine. never really bothered me to be fair

Got the shaftec one the inner boot is baggy, I made modifications to the back of the block to fix this .

Just seen ktec do genuine shafts for £147.

Has anyone got the part number for an o/s/f 182 cup driveshaft? U ordered one from j&r on eBay which they said was the right one but it must be for a non cup as its shorter.

When I got my 2118's I got ps3's for mine found them online somewhere £50 each. I'll have a look for the receipt

The belt failed within its service time, I'd imagine Renault might help you out with the repair. Phone up the garage or Renault uk if you don't have much luck.

Make sure the levers that attach the handbrake cable to the shoes are not seized, its quite common

I had this problem with mine, Cut down the shims and grind more off pad to get them to fit.

This is what I set mine to the other day at work, The reason the toe is so far out to begin with is i undone the track rods on a different ramp,While doing the oil change to check they were not seized.
