Thats wierd Huw - NU told me no probs with the spoiler/suspension as long as they were manufacturer options? - maybe something to do with age too??
On average around 30mpg, although tends to sit at 27/28mpg quite a bit - had it down to 15mpg on the way home for about 10 mins though! :o
Still putting normal u/l in too...
Matt
Mine is covered by NU and they were ok about it - depends some accept manufacturer options (the Mini example is a good one), some class them as mods.
You just have to ring around a bit more...
Hooray so its not just me then! Ive managed to trigger the alarm a couple of times when opening it too quickly - usually when the cars in the garage and my wifes in bed above  - damn its loud!
Matt
The back end can feel twitchy when pushing on - especially if you lift off - but youve got to be really pushing it :devilish: IMO
The one I test-drove had the s/wheel slightly turned to right (didnt buy yours from Nicholas Smiths did you?!) - which felt wierd, but luckily mines ok!

I opted out from my company car scheme - coming out of a Honda Accord Type-R (before that MG ZT) to buy my own Clio.
With the opt-out cash I could stretch to a Subaru STi/330/Leon R/RX-8 etc but to be honest none of them were THAT much faster on the road, and the running costs are just plain...
I cant hear any clicking when using mine, but guess it could be the a/c unit kicking in?
Can tell the performance drop ever-so-slightly, although its nowhere near as noticeable as in my previous Hondas/Rovers!
Matt
I waited 3 weeks for a black one with Cup options, as the dealer had already ordered it as a showroom car - they had another in the showroom, but as that was the one I test-drove with dealer plates I wasnt too keen!;)
Matt
Touch wood Ive had no problems at all - bear in mind that on any web car-forum you only ever hear from the people that have had problems!
Also - If £200 is your deposit, you may find the dealer can charge you quite a bit more than this if you cancel!
Matt
Im SERIOUSLY tempted to do the trackday on the 21st May - although not sure if I dare put my new 182 through it http://www.cliosport.net/forum/smileys/smiley13.gif - it should be run-in by then (at least 1000 miles!), but just keep wondering how much "baggier" it will feel afterwards?!
Ive...
Nope you cant put a towbar on it - exhaust means its a no-go!
I use the missuss car for towing the (trials) bike around :), also means that the 182 stays clean!
Matt
Would phone around the local dealers with that price - and then go back to thm - the last few hundred quid is the hardest! (before freebies such as Supaguard, fuel etc)....
Not sure I want to let everyone laugh at how much I paid for my 182 :o, but IMO you should be looking at low £13ks with both Cup options & metallic from an official Reno dealer.
I bought mine with a low-rate bank loan - usual affair of speaking to 3/4 local Reno dealers (over the phone, try...
Ive got one as a courtesy car until my 182 is ready to collect (hopefully today if they sort my plate out!) - its not too bad really, although its been a while since I drove a car with such a low redline!
It pulls well throughout the range and I cant get below 35mpg no matter how I drive...
or there are some dealers who have demos/new ones in showrooms still - you could cut a reasonable deal with one of them?? (I was offered a showroom one with Cup options/metallic at £13.2k from the local N Yorks dealer recently)...
Matt
My delivery date was brought forward to this Friday (9th) after being quoted 3rd/4th week April initially :)
Some dealers do have some left in the showrooms though!
