Yes am aware that by coming off the power in a FWD nose will usually pull in tighter - but when in high speed bends you dont want to be coming off the power too quick (esp. in a Clio!) - much better to balance the car with a bit of throttle after your braking point and then nail it at the apex...

Absolutley - Im talking about balancing the car through corners through steady acceleration

you should never come off the gas in any FWD car when going round corners - the 182 seems really sensitive to this; best bet is to keep the pedal to the metal!

£13k new with options from a dealer seems to be a good target - mine was £13.2k although you can get pre-reg/import ones much cheaper (£12k). Alternatively a few people seem to be selling nearly new ones around the £11-£12k mark

Yup had it a few times (really scary until you get used to it!) - normally when braking from 80-90mph to 40ish and turning too (doh must remember not to turn and brake!)

Reg Vardy dealerships usually push this hard - but obviously you pay more for the car in the first place!
