Just over 460 miles on a tank is my best in the 172, all motorway driving apart from about 30 miles of it. Lost my bottle at that point and had to put some more in but was surprised at that. From herne bay in kent to abergavenny in wales and back without filling up.
Normal driving sees me at...
Id just finished getting some pics of a car and heard you coming before i saw you :), was along bullockstone road just gone 5pm.
Would guess its someone on here as it looks cared for when ive seen it in the past?
i feel for you mate, had to do mine last night. if you mean the inner ones then i used two pairs of grips one on either side of the bracket and tightening each one in turn till its squeezed up, then whilst they were on, pushed down on the top of the bracket with a lever against the chassis, till...
As stated? just wondering as it had a cliosport.net sticker in the back window when i valeted it this morning? the sticker was fecked though so had to come out, otherwise id have left it in.
sounds like a collapsed brake hose to me. look fine from the outside but deteriorate and block up. try taking the hose off completely at both ends and see if the fluid flows freely from where its disconnected.
good excuse for braided hoses methinks.
probably be filled in by sunday, and start work early and finish in the dark this week so no real time to get a pic unfortunately. my wheels similar but not quite as bad as the mondeo one on bbc just now. its managed to chip the paint off the wheel where the rim meets the spoke though so gonna...
reading through a few bits i think im just gonna have to do what majority of people do and give up. doubt ill get far saying my wheels damaged and showing pictures, then claiming the wheel costs so and so without a proper receipt to show. theres no way im paying for a new one so the for sale...
Managed to hit a big pothole last night whilst doing 60mph and flatspotted one of my alloys badly. It was wobbling the steering at any speed so put it on the back till i can sort it all out properly, but just getting a big vibration through the car now. Pmsl when i was quoted £185incl vat from...
i like, out of curiosity how much did it set you back? parts and labour?
always been tempted for a 50 shot of nitrous but gonna leave that till i get everything else how i want it first i think.
Nevermind^
YOU PRICK! pmsl, but fair play for getting away with it, may have been a bit worse had the cameras not been there and him trying to make a point.
Love the oversteer moments since ive had my clio, few times its caught me out going bit quicker than i should into a corner but always managed to...
if theyre anything like my kit (from hids4u.co.uk), the ballast that connects to the original bulb plug can be put in two ways. one of mine worked and the other didnt. i turned the plug round 180 degrees and it worked! I also didnt bother changing the fuses as mine said to do it, otherwise they...
probably have to go to renault to get the code and they're likely to rob you of about £10 or £15. could be the battery playing up or a loose connection which has caused it.
Has anyone got a link to the thread where someone used a load of tiger seal to make their upper mount more solid. Got the tiger seal, just wanted to run through it again before i started.
cheers
gotta admit actually mine did this the other night but only noticed it today. had me confused for a while, but gonna keep an eye on the battery. starts and runs ok (for a clio), as long as it lasts till friday i dont mind as all my money is being spunked on a remap and matched inlets at JMS :D
Re: Ben_stevo172 - Supercharged Monaco 172
pmsl at the bloke who reckoned he had an audi a4 up his chuff and couldnt shift it when he was in a 172 and when they stopped the bloke said it was a 1.6! somehow i think he may have been telling porkies, lol
and is sat nav not the reason the clios have that little square patch in the middle bottom of the windscreen in tinted examples? otherwise the tinted screen interferes with the signal, so spoiler shouldnt cause any problems with the sat nav, check its not had a knock though and the tailgate...
ive used it (not on my current car) and to be honest its pretty good stuff, never left any swirls that i noticed. never used it if the car was too gritty but everyday road grime is gone in seconds. best idea is get some good microfibres, one for applying and another for final buff, and spray on...
