Generic bucket seats £130 a pair - any good?

On a related note, do you have a cage fitted? I'd strongly advise a roll cage if you are going to strap yourself in a rigid position with harnesses.

Generic bucket seats £130 a pair - any good?

You may as well fit a pair of farmhouse pine dining chairs. Try a few out and get something comfortable. Steel framed seats are ok if you don't want to do more than about 2 miles.

    Cleaning tools

Get in to the habit of wiping them off with brake cleaner on some paper towel as you go along before putting them away. EuroCarParts often have Pagid brake cleaner on offer for a shade under £1.50 a can. Even WD40/GT85 or similar will do the job if you have some handy.

Right, own up -- who was on Coronation Street just now? [PIC]

The last time a CS owned RB was spotted on 'screen' with a woman in the shot (or was it a male) there was an equal amount of guys trawling the net for the footage. You won't find that on ITV player...

    To strip...or not to strip...

I would personally keep some of the comforts. I've a caged 205 with buckets and harnesses and other than rear seats being removed due to being pointless with a cage over them, I retain my carpet and full dash as the car becomes less pleasurable for fast road jaunts. I had the full carpet and...

    Fuel rail nut rounded off

Do you have imperial sized sockets in your set you can try? An Irwin bolt grip may or (probably) may not fit in the hole. If not suitable for this occasion, certainly worth putting on your Xmas list as when next in a similar position they are worth their weight in gold sat in a drawer ready...

What is classed as high miles for a clio?

Being a Clio forum, let's take a 2002 172 for example. 13 years old. 13 x 12,000 = 156,000 miles. Your average 172 doesn't often have 156,000 miles. It's a good way of sellers making a car sound less used than it has been, especially for a several year old car that's done a lot of miles in...

    Which bike throttle bodies?

I've got Keihin bike carbs (Suzuki GSXR) on one of my cars and I have no issues with them at all. I'd imagine the same amount, if not more development went in to them as Jenveys for example, being a mass produced Japanese component, so with a well designed and fabricated manifold you shall...

    iPhone 6S

I personally prefer the square edges of the 4/5, but I always use a case and I'm sure I can get one that gives a square feel in your hand. I will end up getting the 6S as my 24month contracts 'expire' in September so I've had the 4S and 5S because of this pattern.

    Please explain to me why....

Is that not so it doesn't continue to use your data allowance whilst your phone is locked/app is minimized? That's what I've always assumed, and it makes sense if so. I'd hate for it to continually try to buffer videos for example if I was on a video heavy website.

    Handbrake removal? from caliper?

Pliers or grips on the end of the cable to pull the end away from the arm. A sufficient sized drift/punch should then knock the sleeve out of the caliper. Although to be fair, as above - a pair cables isn't too expensive.
