OK, I have a std aerial on my Mk1, and I dont even listen to the radio, the damn thing is huuuuuuuge. I dont wanna take it off and worry about sealing it up and stuff...so, does anyone have pics of decent (small) aerials on their mk1?
I don't want chrome...and the smaller the better. Are all...
Muwhaha, Vinny saw what happened with my Velcro ^_^
Velcro holds it from all driving, but I had a spinny-spinny in the wet, and that made my sub come loose. But the answer would be; dont drive daft enough to spin... :p
However; it was the glue'd side of the velcro that gave.... the "grippy"...
LoL - don't ask reno! Come round mine, and we'll have a sunroof fixing day! Mine needs fixing too... couple 'a crow-bars... roof-liner will be gone in a jiffy :)

Oooh, So you jammed in some sponge inbetween the roof and the lining? Where abouts? Behind the windscreen (as in, in the direction of the boot) Seems like a good idea actually! :]
Pack of 4 sponges, 99p... sorted.

The only thing I had was when I got my clio airborne about 30cm, landed, and then had a rattle, that turned out to be a screw (never found out where that came from)
After that, it was silent.
Perhaps, if u've removed too many screws, its now loose?

OMG, I havent checked that, rofl... I assumed it was something complicated... haha, I'm gonna check that tomorrow when there's some light... oops! *feels stupid*

Ok, dont really need my sunroof in winter... but... its dead!
I have Mk.I with a sunroof...so naturally; it leaks, and water likes to get all around the sunroof electrics...and...weell, I press the button, and nothing happens :(
I just wanna know if anyone elses died...and what it was that...
My knowledge of car ignition systems is... "limited" ... but could you not just slap a switch in the ignition cable, root it somewhere bizzare and hidden. (under the center console...it pulls out in MK1s) and then just flick this switch whenever you leave ur car.
As I say, it takes longer to...
I only have a 1.4, so probably not at all worth it, I just find that when using heel-and-toe, "Blipping" the throttle isnt quite enough, as the flywheel takes more than a "blip" to increase the RPM enough.
May be something to change when I'm bored :] My 1.4's never gonna be quick, but at...
S2000 is a good car, but in the hands of a propper driver (and I mean...better than anyone on any forums) such as Keiichi Tsuchiya or Akira Iiada, Takuya Kurosawa or Motoharu Kurosawa (Gan-san) then it's a simply epic car.
The Amuse-tuned S2000 is a work of art;
But yes... show them...
Yup... not working, think ur bandwidth got eaten :P
How much is a lightened flywheel, and what are the negative effects? Does it kill the torque on low-torque engines? or is there no negative effects?

Ok, so... myself and Vinny decided to take some photos today, but... woke up, and it was tipping it down! Well, not to be beaten by weather, we went ahead anyway. Dodging brown puddles was fun. As was reversing accross a blind cross-junction...:dead: (hehe, long story!) Anyhoo, below are the...
My theory is, if I'm hospitalised, then I'll be so glad I'm alive to care about paying out money... life is priceless, but however much someone sues you for... well, its just money.
Retract the above statement if you slam into a Mercades SLR ^_^

If you had a crash, could you get ur car delivered to your home instead of a pound? or can you choose the garage, etc?
In theory the car is ur property, so I'm guessing you can ask for it to be delivered to your house?!?!
Anybody got an answer?

This happens to me, and it's soooooooooo annoying! Grrr! Goes over ur headunit if u brake too hard too! :O
I did some serious looking at mine, with a jug of water...pouring it on the roof and seeing where it went in... Hmm, I still couldn't find out if it was the aerial or sunroof... Grrr! But...
