A cup-blue 182 (cup? ) and then a few cars behind an iceberg silver Mk2 with K-Tec spoiler, and a few other mods. (going too quick to see which model Clio it was...)
Anyone here?

7800GTX runs the lost coast quite nice ^_^ HDRI is cool, buuuuuut... I have a fear lots of poor games are gonna impliment it really badly, and just lead to cheesy-looking low-fps games.
If your on a budget, I'd say go for the last generation of cards (eg: X800/6800) and last gen; ATI were...
Anyway to get white dials and change the colour?
Do Lockwood kits stop light getting through 100%? What do white lockwoods look like at night?
Could someone tell me how to get white dials, red needles, and blue-LEDs behind?
What do I need? :)
Looking nice rhino!

I wasnt saying you were a chav, _I_ have an induction kit! I was just saying if a lowered car pulls into a car park where there are some chavs drinking cider or whatever they do... they'll be more interested in nicking ur motor!
I think the K&N on the 1.4 sounds nice, it's no different at...
Mine slipped the other night... right through 1st and 2nd gear!!!! Ok, admittedly it wasnt my best footwork, but.. sheesh...
..then; its perfect again... Although I'm ocassionaly getting a squeak when I pull away... do clutches squeak?????? Or is this a belt?

Lucas / Girling take the same pads I think.
And yea, the smell was awwwwwwwful! and I 100% cleaned my wheels when I took them off... I got out teh car... OMG!!!!!!! Soooo annoyed; they're FILTHY!!! After a 2mile drive! :O

Nah... the two on the LEFT of the screen are from the front left... inside and outside...
the LEFT WHEEL has word more than the RIGHT WHEEL... :/ ... sorry for my bad explination...!
In the pic above, pads are positioned as follows;
....PASSENGER INSIDE ................ DRIVERS...
Frak me that was an arsey job! Those retaining pins were STUCK like bejesus... got em out.... then I was... "how do they go back in?"
I'm ga-sunked.
I refurb'd my alloys while I was at it... what a waste of time that was!
So, fitted them, pumped the brake pedal a bit, it worked. Got out...
Idea being if your clio pulls into a car park sounding like a beast with it's roaring K&N, etc... it's more likely to attract chavs...
...also, if ur fitting an induction kit, it also pigeon holes you as a "fast" driver...

I owe you Lunner :) I was about to chicken out but you've given me confidence, I owe you a couple of bevvies at the next meet ;) (I'm in Stafford, Midlands.. you?)
I made this thread:

Dedicated to seeing which I had. I have Bendix...
Bah, to hell with it, how hard can it be? :)
I'm gonna not bleed em... i'll get that done by someone else at another time... I think its adding too much to worry about... I'll just do pads instead.
-Jack up, Axel stands, remove wheel
-Remove retaining plate
-remove old pads
-reset the...
I found fitting my ICE myself a great learning experience, and generally quite fun. I got an amp fitting kit for £20 which came with;
battery-amp wire
amp - sub wire
Remote wire
RCA leads
Fusesbox
Fuses
battery terminals
then just had to buy some odds and ends from bass junkies in wolvo...
Hmmm...
If you mod your car and make it stand out, and then post it on the forums, you gotta accept the negative criticism along with the good.
If every1 only posted positive stuff, then im sure it'd be good for your ego, but it wouldnt be an honest concensus of how "good" your car is.
I...
That is THE sweet.
So, me being dumb... how adjustable are GAZ coilovers? Can you adjust KgF/MM, or is that only possible by replacing springs? What settings can you play with? Ride height, Damper-rebound, anything else?
Looks the part though.... how much does the front dip with heavy...
You got it on coilovers? No way dude! Definately gonna have to go to airfield or something, I dont see too much point in ploughing money into a track day in British winter... more likely to go off and at the least mess up ur paintwork in the gravel!
but something cheap like an airfield... it...
This is starting to sound fun :)
I'm sure it'll all make a lot more sense when im looking at it! So, my plan of attack;
-Take off wheels
-Disassemble brakes (removing pads)
-Bleed brakes
-Refil brake fluid
-Paint callipers
-Fit new pads
-Spread the love......

Make sure ur wheels are still fully under ur arches though.... or plod will have you :)
But yea, basicly, a wider setup will basicly give you more stability and traction, probably most noticeable at 50-60mph long-bends on country roads. Coupled with a low centre of gravity and you're away...
