So I can just leave the second sensors hanging outside or make a hole to plug them back in and it'll be the same? But am I correct as to where the cats are on the Mk1 v6 though? One on each downpipe and then one sensor before and one after each cat which makes a total of 4 sensors. Thank you

Hi, Correct me if I'm wrong. The V6 has 6 cats. 1 on each down pipe, and one big one before the muffler. I have already taken out the main cat before the muffler. The engine light has not come on because there are not sensors after that cat. Now I want to replace the two downpipes...

found where the sensors are. the water temp sensor is at the upper coolant hose from the engine. the oil temp sensor is at the oil filter. both are extremely close to the engine, so the temperature should be relatively higher? so what should i expect normal operating temperatures to be? when...
