At the bottom of the window void there is a hole which was used to screw a bracket in place. Stick a bolt/screw through the hole and put some nylon spacers over the shank, then let the plastic either sit on it or make an appropriate hole. Works a treat and very secure.
I would go for 80/85 or 85/90.
Have used both setups. For me I'd say that anymore than that and the car is literally undrivable on the road without destroying your back. I don't even like driving mine now on the road but I put up with it for my local track (Brands).
That setup is very good...
I wouldn't worry about value at all tbh.
The ones which will be worth something, IF any of them are, are the mint standard cups (obviously Trophys and Vees).
Not the run off the mill cars. No disrespect, the car is lovely and I love a mint RB. But you've already lost any glimmer of hope...
These are absolutely epic!! Would have it all day long over the focus RS. More 'grown up', more stylish, better drivetrain, better engine, better noise etc etc etc
One of my best mates has recently just tickled over the 10k marker on his. Absolutely lovely cars.
My cousin has a JB4 on his...
I got less than 1500 miles total out of both my consecutive Valeo clutches. I would have put it down to bad luck if just one had failed, but two failing is far too much of a coincidence.
Not worth the risk of damaging the box or block when there have been soooooo many Valeos fail in my...
Helix Organic. That's what I use with my Gripper.
Valeo clutches are dog s**t, wouldn't go near them again after two consecutive failures in no miles at all. I'm just thankful they didn't damage the box or the block when they broke!
Fabric ones just look very cheap and unfinished, or like you've got something caught in your grill. Especially when they are flapping about.
Get a proper one.

Haha bloody hell that's a large increase! Definitly had a map I reckon. Audi probably wouldn't be able to tell unless they had the standard ECU file in front of them to compare it against..
It really depends what you're used to.
They can be anything from 240bhp ish to 310bhp ish depending on model and age.
They aren't straight line rockets so if you come from something with s**t loads of torque and good power they can feel slow. But Porsches are not about that at all. They are...
New tyres will definitly need balancing. All tyres are different and when they are spinning at x revolutions per minute you will feel the imperfections through the steering wheel.
Start with around 25 PSI and then monitor at every opportunity. You want to aim for 30 PSI when hot across all four.
If you have good suspension then you shouldn't need much different to that.
For what the OP wants I'd say the AD08R is the best value for money choice. £300 fitted for all four is a bit of a bargain. Would just need to be sensible in serious rain on the road (which you should be anyway)
I've not driven them in the wet on my car as I have R1R for that. But have driven them in the wet around Snett on my mates car which is very similar to mine. They didn't feel that great, not as good as mine felt on the R1R that for sure. But then obviously there are other factors too, age of...
I have both at the moment. AD08R are better for dry. R1R better for wet.
AD08R is a fast road/entry level track tyre. R1R is just a generally good road tyre, not good for track unless it's wet.
Neither have very stiff sidewalls.
Looks great. I think they have aged excepionally well. The lines on them look lovely and quite agressive.
Great colour choice too as you can distinguish the gills and grills nicely.
Brands Hatch
Last night I took the car to Brands Hatch for an evening session with MSVT. @Richie rich and @GrahamS came along for the show. @masekwm also managed to book on last mintute and brought his 172 Turbo. I think Graham got a few photos and videos on his camera so I'll post them up...
