Nah nailed the oil filter eventually, ended up grazing my knuckles, got another change coming up :( presuming i can keep the engine in to do the starter?

Yeah tell me about it, trying to get the oil filter in and out :( lol. Was basically asking if its an engine out job? Will give the cable a lube up 2 morro see if that helps, is currently routed through my hoist loops as i melted 2 over the mani :S so the curve might be a bit tight aswell...

Yeah theres 3 phases m8. Very little diffrence between 1 and 2 3 was the facelift :D

He has a mk1 Ph3 by the sounds of it. And no they didnt do a valver or williams in that shape, so no bonnet vents.
