nope, ave mounted it in the hoist loops, well away from the mani.
cant see a problem with the cable.
And what would explain my coolant tank blowing? (temp sensor no where near over heat)
Driving to work this morning and my accelorator suddenly dropped about half way and revs dropped the same. (Was pushing it a bit at the time but not too much)
Got in after work and nothing wrong but same thing hapend about 5 mins later.
No nocks, bumps etc. pedal is just lower. However even...
Well just refitted my hubs with new bearings in, ended up taking GSF ones back :(
Unfortunately its money wasted. it wasnt my bearings.
Turns out the wear sensor wire had come loose and was rubbing (couldnt see until 2nd hub was half off) and my steering was dodgy because I think a bush in my...
Think its a problem with cliffords, mine does it sometimes.
Imobiliser turns off fine but engine wont turn over when you turn the key?
Like you said tho go beck in half an hour and starts fine?
I put it down to "character" lol.
No need for that dude, bit of a generalisation.
Granted there are a few monkeys that work for us but in the stores i have worked in people are on the whole very helpful and know what they are talking about.
Hi crow, what store you at? I am currently 2-wheel manager @ 0900 mansfield.
Sorry dude, thought we were the only company to have them atm.
Very good price for it if it is a GB IMO. :)
Navman are poop, very unreliable.
Go for a tom tom GB 200 quid.
Dont be pulled in by a cheapo sat nav, they are usualy very unreliable.
And i would steer clear of tom tom one offers, they are obsolete. spend the extra on a v2! :)
:)
Gawd i am so scared of driving it atm.
Squeels like a piggy.
O well at least wen theyre done i wont have to worry cos thatll be all 4 replaced in the last cupla months :)
Am going to get the bearings pressed at a garage but am doing all the other work myself.
Will ring GSF on monday RE: where the bloody hell are my circlips! lol.
Ahh will leave the locking compound unless someone else tells me otherwise.
Thought my new hub nut should do it just thought i would...
Just re-read my Haynes manual, do need circlips and do need locking compound on my "driveshaft hub splines"
So, where can i get circlips,
and, what locking compound do i need?
Cheers again, bailey.
didnt get circlips supplied with 2 sets so am guessing they dont come with.
Got nyloc nuts but Mr Haynes says the driveshafts are said to have locking compound on which obviously would need replacing on re-assembly.
Anybody else?! :)
nah not yet, doin them on monday.
Want to know before hand incase i need them cos i dont wanna take them off and find i do cos then i am screwed (no way of getting to local renault)
Also does anybody know what locking compound i am supposed to use on my driveshafts on re-assembly?
Cheers Bailey
