If I was doing mine again then I would go the volvo turbo lump, can get a full car for about £500 for the conversion. Speak to the guys at Nocturnal Developments about the 1.7 turbo lump as they are having excellent results with it :)

1.7 volvo turbo lump, bullet proof and good for 200bhp cheaply enough, more torque aswell, I would personally go for that over TB's etc, get loads more bhp per £ :) Conversion looks easy enough aswell :D

Get some Silkoflex that will do the job properly. but if on a budget then go for no more nails, don't worry about the fixing kit :)

Glad you got the bonnet at last mate ;) I am taking back twistedstyling and its going to be just used as a shop format, selling lots of carbon goodies for a variety of cars :D Will keep people posted :D And that bonnet was a fooking bargain!!

Valver rear beam is wider, so if you wan't to keep it that low then you will have to go for an RSi one :)

If your really that worried then you can setup some external jump points, basically just run a feed from the live side of your battery down to somewhere where you can reach it from under the car, or into the inner wing, something like that, so you can still attach jump leads and get enough power...

Got smoothed MK1 clio 16v bonnets coming soon in carbon, going to get a few made up and sold :) Just not sure how easy it will be to get a mould of the tailgate though.
