not being funny, don't buy a VTR unless you want a cheap runaround. VTS is a more entertaining Saxo, parts for them are hella cheap and you get a lot of car for your money as they're worth peanuts nowdays. Depends, do you want a fun nimble car or just a car with a bit more poke to plod...

hmmm if you say so? so in a straight line a Williams is a great deal quicker than a 182? Had a little run in with a member from this site's 182 cup in my VTS, he seemed pretty impressed with how well the VTS went, but back on topic... Do you think theres much point in upgrading from a Saxo VTS...

yeah tbh the MG's have good engines, didn't they win an award for making lightweight engines that produce alot of power? - The headgasket is obviously a huge downer though. touch wood 182 engines are good, as I want one :)

yeah sure, the Williams does handle extremely well, the VTS is far from poor though. I just meant it a straight line sprint, the Williams wasnt quicker than my VTS, bearing in mind my VTS hadn't got the exhaust at this point also, which seemed to do my car the world of good.. times change...

depends on the condish of the Williams tbh friend had one, it was no more impressive than my VTS tbh. Admittedly stunning to look at, prob a stunning drive when in excellent condish too.

only thing that puts me off my Saxo is the poor build quality, from a driving aspect its so much fun, handles really well, goes extremely well etc.

fair points there. how long is this delay? My VTS' throttle response seems pretty decent and instant tbh... am i gonna be in shock at a second delay on the throttle? lol

Also, i know this is a biased question, Im looking for a more "quality" car than my VTS.. are the clio's solid when for example you close the door etc, lol. Or would you recommend I looked at Ibiza Cupra's, as its between a Clio Sport or an Ibiza Cupra..

what does the 182 have instead of a throttle cable? why is this a problem?
